Barack Obama, our next President

<quoted text>Location-location-loca tion. It's a simple deal IMO if you live in an area of like minded families public schools are probably fine. If you don't live in Wawsaw WI perhaps private, parochial or home schooling would be good options.
I was fortunate enough to be raised in tiny town among Dutch people mostly who were involved in farming mostly. It was a useful upbringing so long as I didn't leave the county. Well I left the county to learn that not all girls weighed three hundred pounds and that was a real life changer for me.
The Army, Viet Nam and such__caused my awakening__and also that of one of my brothers.
I enjoyed school__it was more fun than farming if that makes any sense.
I can't imagine how you would think sitting in a room full of teenaged girls would be more fun the farming!

<quoted text>Well, as a high school communications teacher, I should put up a spirited defense of public education; however, after taking a six percent pay cut "for the children" (which seemed to be much more than their parents were wiling to do), and teaching part-time at a Community College where the pay really sucks and the benefits are non-existent, I'm inclined to agree with you...too many "experts," not enough experience.
That's right everyone talks about a pay cut as long as it's the other guy. Something the Ringers are fond of, especially when it comes to benefits, healthcare or tax hikes take everyone elses except mine!

<quoted text>Well, Ben Franklin actually had six months total formal education; Lincoln probably had no more than twelve, but the concept would seem to be "self-taught." There are some programs and parents that do good work at home schooling, but even linguistically advanced li'l ol' me would think there were many more qualified to teach calculus to a future engineer than I...some of these ones who home school basically for religious reasons I've found to be clear cases of the blind leading the blind. A lot of the students I've known who effectively "dropped out" to pursue an online diploma wasted their time and money.
"Linguistcally advanced"? Oh, the falacious plattitudes. Categorize yourself correctly; you are simultaneously a "cunning linguist' and a "cunning runt". Now swap the consonants on the words in both titles, and we are finally down to the heart of the matter.........

One only needs to weed out the liberal propaganda or actually visit the area hot and talk to the people. You leftards have blinders on. This is actually much more massive than Katrina due to population density, but due to the fact Obama is president, your corrupt media covers the story differently. Sorry to confuse you, lib.
Uh um! I live in New Jersey & have all my life. Hurricane Sandy devastated the coast, however it wasn't know Hurricane Katrina. Not even close. Sandy hit a few cities on the coast un Jersey, but Hurricane Katrina destroyed & flooded a couple states. Look at the number of dead, that tells it all. My cousin & his wife & kids live in Ocean City. He told me how fast they received funding & was back home in less than 2 weeks. Obama actually took a chopper to the Jersey shore & saw things up close & personal & acted accordingly. Bush flew over the devastated areas of New Orleans and was shot at for doing nothing. People wuv stuck on top of houses for 10 days. You don't hear none of that happening in New Jersey because of the President Obama handle himself like the president he is! Get your facts right bra!

I have come to the conclusion that we should just get out of the way and let the democrat/progressives have their way. Let them own it all. The fastest way to fix this problem is, maybe, to just let the democrats totally crash and burn the system. Then we can pick up the pieces and rebuild the country the way it's suppose to be. Rand Paul is right. Give it to them.

Yeah, and what's up with Rand Paul's head? Is that hair or some new fangled toop? Jeez, John Mica and now Rand Paul are wearing fake sht on top and folks are teasing about Debbie Wasserman's doo.

Maybe it's just me but I see Rand Paul as about two steps lower than turtle man in Kentucky lore.

You are indeed dense. Being the coward you are and the fact you have no answer to my question. The question is not about current tax law. The question is why in thefuck should you pay a higher or lower rate than anyone else? You will not answer because you have no answer, nor does any other liberal loon on this thread. I thought we were all created equal.
An example of your ignorance.
You own a home worth $50,000. The property tax rate in your area is $3.45 per thousand. Your property tax would be $172.50. The folks down the block own a home worth $300,000. Their property tax would be $1035. Are the folks who have a more valuable home penalized and taxed a higher rate than you are. No. The tax rate is equal for all.
"real dumb", do you practice being a dumbshit?
Peace
KMA
Since he won't answer & shut you the hell up, I will. 1st off every man was created equal is a Christian thing. Every man is created equal in God's eyes, but we all know the truth when looking through human eye. You and I are created equal in God's eyes but you think you're better because you make more money. You think you're above struggle, I on the other hand grew up in it. Now the cost of living goes up almost yearly, yet minimum wage in New Jersey is like 7 dollars and 45 cents an hour. nobody can survive on 7 dollars and 45 cents an hour. Peoples have families & there's not enough good paying jobs for everyone & somebody's got to do the dirty work so people accept lower level jobs to provide for their families. Now on the other hand the rich sit on their asses & make record profits while te's next man struggles to put food on the table. Giving the 2 scenarios, you tell me if thats fair. The rich caused this fucked up economic situation in america & the middle class is paying for it & trying to get back all of their 401k blown & sacrificed by the rich, so yea the rick deserves to pay a lil more. Why? Cause they can. You can only take from those that ain't got until they truly ain't got. Good enough answer for ya, you greedy bastard!

No one with half a brain was surprised at the President's handling of Sandy you clueless twit. It's what happens when you put people in charge that actually know what they're doing unlike his predecessor who appointed a political hack with no experience in emergency management.

The White House didn't have anything to do with the talking points that Susan Rice was given you goddamned liar. They were provided by the intelligence community who had an interest in protecting their sources and not tipping off the terrorists.
The hypocrisy here is that during the previous administration another Rice in this case Condoleezza was being questioned about faulty intelligence that she disseminated about Iraqi WMD and The same John McCain who dragged Susan Rice over the coals came to her defense.
suzzie rice is the Boy Messiah's devoted gofer. The mdia plays up her loyalty all the time.

So don't try separating the White House from suzzie's lying. They are both the one in the same.

"Each and every child deserves the opportunity to an education."

True.

And once they repeatedly blow that opportunity with gun violence, drugs and hoop dream stupidity with poor attendance and useless grades - f*ck 'em.

Now if that attitude is called 'racism' by you and your ilk, so be it. Name calling befits a jerk like you.
