Hey stupid! The Founding Fathers were progressive secularists. The Constitution is the most progressive document ever written and it is also the most secular. There is no mention of Jesus or any other deity in the entire document. The Founders didn't want religion mixing with government or for that matter government interfering with religion.
If you actually study the history of politics in this country you'd see that it's always been a blood sport.
