You think the last three springs were bad wait till next year. 9.5% plus unemployment (really around 15%). More layoffs. Downward spiral. Point of no return.

The world’s not doing so great in that fight against corruption. Two thirds of the 176 countries ranked by Transparency International in its annual rankings gauging the perceived levels of public sector corruption score below 50, on a scale from 0 (perceived to be highly corrupt) to 100 (perceived to be clean). Even some of the countries where citizens have tried to stand up to corruption–like Egypt–stagnated or fell in the rankings.

Tops for transparency and perceived to be the cleanest: Denmark, Finland and New Zealand

WHERE IS THE USA???OBAMA IS THE MOST HONEST MAN I KNOW OF!!!SO HAPPY WE HAVE GOT HIM FOR 4 MORE YEARS.HE PAYS ME NOT TO WORK?I AM ABLE TO WORK.
THANK YOU OBAMA!!!!!!

The worst performers: Afghanistan, North Korea and Somalia. Of the BRICs, Russia scored the worst at No. 133 even though it improved from No. 143 last year.

(It’s worth noting that the United States doesn’t make the top 10% of the countries.)

The best performing emerging market on the list: Chile at No. 20. Qatar and the UAE come in at No. 27.

Movers from 2012:

Malaysia moved from No. 60 to 54. China fell to No. 80 from No. 75. Greece fell from No. 80 to 94; Egypt went from No. 112 to No. 118.

Brazil improved from No. 73 to No. 69.

The problem is you say 1 has nothing to do with the other which it shouldn't, but you right wingers tend to call Obama muslim. & if he was then what? Freedom of religion yet ya'll panic in the wake of something you don't understand. I could care less if he was muslim. He's proven hew is here to do the will of the people. & don't sit here & act like you & your brethren don't try to link President Obama & the end time prophecies. Ya'll dont call him the antichrist & everything. Boy Messiah, what more proof do I need? & again show me some proof & not right wing journalism that proves that obamacare is bad for the middle & lower classes!
The majority of Americans did want Obama's version of health care reform passed. It was passed anyway proving he wasn't "here to do the will of the people".

The majority of Americans believe we are on the wrong track. Obama is taking us down the same one proving he isn't "here to do the will of the people".

The majority of Americans were against the nearly trillion dollar stimulus and nothing to show for it. Obama spent it anyway proving he wasn't "here for the will of the people".

So I have no idea what you're talking about.

By the way, he's a Black Liberation Theologist with Muslim sympathies.

I fear even more are going to get tired of pulling their own weight plus the weight of half of the population at some point.

It's much too easy to throw in the towel and get on the free bandwagon even it means adjusting and downsizing.

According to multiple Fox sources, Ailes has issued a new directive to his staff: He wants the faces associated with the election off the air — for now. For Karl Rove and Dick Morris — a pair of pundits perhaps most closely aligned with Fox’s anti-Obama campaign — Ailes’s orders mean new rules. Ailes’s deputy, Fox News programming chief Bill Shine, has sent out orders mandating that producers must get permission before booking Rove or Morris…

Inside Fox News, Morris’s Romney boosterism and reality-denying predictions became a punch line. At a rehearsal on the Saturday before the election, according to a source, anchor Megyn Kelly chuckled when she relayed to colleagues what someone had told her:“I really like Dick Morris. He’s always wrong but he makes me feel good.”

That about sums it up. Wrongness on Fox News is irrelevant. Is there anyone on Fox News who’s been right about anything?

Well, 65 million people disagree. The American people want healthcare. It is going to happen, no matter how much you all whine.

Homer does that from time to time. Go back a page or two, Tenzing posted an article which may help explain why rightwingers cannot grasp certain things. Sure it's not going to ease your frustrations with them.

This is hilarious, two women in their 60's who make less than $400 a week worrying about pulling other peoples weight!
Is this comedy central?

Homer ready to go over the cliff, cannot possibly be any worse than 2008 when Bush destroyed everything in sight.

Let all the tax cuts expire and cut military spending, do everything the bi-partisan commission recommended.

Let's do this.

Anyone else with me on this?
