Another idiotic bit of drool from Lorac. Obama was defeating the robot in the polls before Sandy. With the exception of 1 week following the 1st debate, Mittens always trailed Obama, but you wouldn't know that swallowing Dick Morris' verbal ejaculations.
So, homes and businesses flattened down to their foundation should be rebuilt by now? What, is POTUS supposed to have 'I dream of Jeannie' powers?
That's actually not true. The polls - all of them - indicated Romney had a momentum and was leading right before Hurricane Sandy.

It's astonishing what he's doing to say the least in this volatile and economic fragile climate.

No it isn't, the climate is strikingly similar to the climate of the 50's. What's different is that you have a major "news" outlet telling you the climate is different. Where are all these rich folk going to emigrate to where they'll pay lower taxes and enjoy the benefits they enjoy here? Who else has run up their entitlement and infrastructure and war credit card tab to over 100% of GDP? They can just stay here and continue to ride the gravy train on the backs of future generations. Of course, buying $300k in Greek bonds gets them an EU passport if they're so inclined. Know anybody that wants to move to Greece?
And you're living in La La Land if you think this country isn't in deep doo-doo with a $16 trillion debt and a president who wants to punish the private sector instead of provide incentives.

It's a stupid question. Taxes aren't going up for 98% of Americans, the ones that actually drive the economy. I know this nugget doesn't get reported on your fav network, but the private sector has been hiring for the last 2 years.
Every poll also said Obama would win, but you missed that, huh.
Put up some graphs, links or at least a Tenzing rant about it.

How is a $16 trillion debt and a president who wants to punish the private sector instead of providing incentives even remotely similar to the 50s - or any other time in our history?

Raising taxes is only acceptable when leadership believes the private sector is better equipped to solve the nation's economic problems than the government, provides incentives to the private sector to help them solve the problems and focuses on limiting government spending.

There is absolutely no comparison to the 50s and this president.

The Boy Messiah will just have to increase taxes somewhere somehow to pay for more unemployment benefits which will then depress economic growth futher leading to more unemployment....

Just the fact that the DJIA doubled under Obama's four years as opposed to Ike's eight and that a "large governmental economic stimulus" was the hallmark of Obama's first term practically begs no comparison at all!
Ike saw 7.5% unemployment during the 1958 recession.
Don't know where you copied and pasted this from but you should get a different source.
Playing stupid again, Mr. Disingenuous. I sold one glass of Lemonade yesterday. Today, I sold two. Wow! A doubling of sales! I'm a genius!

Its your Fox "News" driven assumption that jobs will be scarcer next year. Where's your empirical data that indicates that jobs will be scarcer next year? Fox's "Stands to reason" isn't empirical data.
Your demand for "empirical" data is getting tiresome especially regarding future events. You are the kneejerk kid asking "But why?...But why?...yeah, but why?" until everyone's ears begin to bleed.

If I see dark clouds gathering on the backyard horizon along with lightening and a rising wind, I can tell you that a storm is coming.

Tenzing: "Where's your empirical data? Huh? Huh? Must be a Fox News story. Huh? Huh?"

I have no empirical data about that future event and I don't watch Fox News. I am not a meteorologist and I might not even have a 3rd grade education. But I know that a storm's a comin'.

carol knows a storm's a comin', Brother ADD.
