Many people are routinely drug tested; many jobs require drug testing prior to being hired.<quoted text>
And someone as high as a kite will say "no" on all three questions and get hired. Marijuana wasn't one of the no-nos.
Is that fair? What if a person likes to smoke pot from time to time on the weekends? Doesn't mean he's a drug addict and incapable of doing his job.
A person could go and drink on the weekends and still do his or her job on Monday morning.
I can't stand all this probing into peoples lives. I understand why it is done, especially with healthcare workers, police, ambulance drivers emts, etc., but, there are teas people can drink to cover the drugs in your system. We've had quite a few cops and firefighters here busted for selling drugs, mainly oxycontin.
A person could have a prescription for pain medication and be higher than a person who smoked a joint on the weekend.
