Will Fox Acknowledge Its Soros/Wal-Mart Coverage Is Totally Wrong?
Fox's coverage echoed a Daily Caller article published Tuesday. The Daily Caller has since updated its reporting, removing all references to Soros in its article and appending a correction saying that he "does not appear connected" to the protests.

It's all on the surface with you, isn't it.
Saying that all potential humans have a right to life, also says that if a woman miscarries a pregnancy, she's guilty of murder. The Governor of Indiana wants to pursue this line of thinking, by forensically investigating every miscarriage. Not sure about you, but I have a problem with that.
The criminals you paraded across your memory up there, were all born. And yes, all the American ones had the right to life, as outlined in the United States Constitution. Their right to life (other than Manson's it seems) was disregarded once they were condemned to death by the State.
You're stupid, and too stupid to know how stupid you are.

What's the GOP message if the economy booms?
By David Frum
Here's the next thing the Republican party needs to rethink. What does it say if and when the United States returns to prosperity?
For five years, U.S. politics have been shaped by economic hardship. In 2008 and 2010, voters rejected the party in power, booting Republicans out of the White House, and then sweeping Democrats out of Congress.
Mitt Romney campaigned in 2012 on the slogan, "Obama isn't working." President Obama responded by attacking Romney as out of touch, assuming (probably correctly) that he could not win by running on his record.
The nation's economy added 171,000 jobs in October 2012, for a total of almost 700,000 in the four months before Election Day. More than half the jobs lost in the crash of 2008-2009 have now been recovered, even as public-sector employment has shrunk by a net 500,000.
The economy is recovering because consumers are less burdened by debt. They are paying down their credit cards, building home equity and strengthening their personal balance sheets.
As household debt burdens become lighter, consumers express more confidence. They are allowing themselves to spend a little more. They are even buying new homes again. Housing starts in October 2012 rose to a level 41.9% over a year before.
Accelerating economic activity is rapidly reducing the budget deficit. The deficit has contracted since 2009 at the fastest rate since the end of World War II, faster even than during the late 1990s boom.
Wages remain flat, and will likely stay flat until unemployment contracts more, but Americans can begin to see better times ahead for the first time in a long time.
As they do glimpse that better future, two things will happen in politics:
1) President Obama will begin to claim more credit. In 2012, the word "stimulus" went unmentioned by Democrats. It was Republicans who tried to make political use of the $800 billion spent on job creation in 2009-2011. In 2013-2014, however, the shoe may suddenly rematerialize on the other foot.
2) Republicans will discover that their old "Obama isn't working" theme has become obsolete. By 2014, again assuming that Congress does not leap off the fiscal cliff, it will likely look as if Obama is working. What then? If negative messaging failed in 2012, it will fail bigger in 2014.
For too long, the Republicans have predicted apocalypse, debt crisis, the loss of freedom, the overthrow of the constitution. As the economy improves, that doom-saying will seem even more out of touch than ever.
Republican political chances will depend on the Republican ability to devise a positive program to address the country's fiscal problems in ways that improve people's lives. It's a new day, guys, and it demands a new game.

Please do not interfere with Real Dave's delusions. That is my job, one of the few real jobs created in The Obama Economy. I am compensated for his treatment by Medicaid. However once ObamaCare takes full effect in 2014, I will probably have to drop my Medicaid patients when rates are reduced.

Nobody should drink alcohol or abuse drugs.
Alcohol-related problems cost society more than $175 billion a year. Alcohol addiction causes thousands of deaths each year. Alcohol use by underage youths is the most frequently abused substance by young people 12 to 17 years old.
Drug and alcohol abusers are at higher risk for socially unacceptable behaviors such as becoming involved in crime, unsafe sex or self-inflicted injuries. Children and teenagers who abuse drugs and alcohol have a higher drop-out rate than non-users. Substance abuse during pregnancy increases the risk of miscarriage, birth defects, still-born births and infants with learning disabilities.
According to a 2009 report by the National Business Group on Health, up to 40 percent of industrial fatalities and 47 percent of industrial injuries are linked to alcohol use, and employees who use drugs are five times more likely to file a workers' compensation claim than workers who don't.
The PC police have decided only one vice should be demonized by creating public hysteria though. And it was pretty easy for them to do. That's what's most disturbing.

Maybe you can tell me. I'm not a believer in the gov't telling people what to drink, eat or smoke. But to deliberately turn yourself into a two fisted smoker or soda drinker just to shove it in the gov'ts. face, which Carol suggests doing, defies stupidity. Both are bad for you and to double down on either one to prove a point is moronic. Can't speak for anyone else but emphysema and morbid obesity doesn't sound like a pleasant way to go through life. But it's a choice and we all have the right to make that choice. Unfortunately there are many people in the country who ignore the truth about things that are detrimental to their health. That is their right to do so. Seat belts save lives too. Does it make sense to not wear one just to prove a point? Guess it's up to each individual to decide. I care more about taking responsibility for my own health than trying to show the gov't, who really doesn't give a shit about my health, who's boss. Anyone who can't see through the ruse of what this is really about, revenue, is an idiot. The information is out there. It's up to each individual to take what they will from it. Keep in mind tobacco and soda are both addictive substances.

According to these self-proclaimed American Patriots, it's just for kicks and giggles. The Tea Party loves humor except not about them and their humor is violent or it's not funny. Hypocrites.
