Please indulge me. But since it seems we're winding down a bit, I felt compelled to post this for some reason.

To everything there is a season,
a time for every purpose under the sun.
A time to be born and a time to die;
a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
a time to kill and a time to heal ...
a time to weep and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn and a time to dance ...
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to lose and a time to seek;
a time to rend and a time to sew;
a time to keep silent and a time to speak;
a time to love and a time to hate;
a time for war and a time for peace.

ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Being the eternal optimist and all.

You're as full of shit as Carol.
You know, that isn't the insult you seemingly intended. Carol is not 'full of shit'. She expresses opinions which radically differ from your own, granted, but they don't reek of offal anymore than ours do. They differ. They're not apocalyptically stupid, simply because they don't align with yours in a nice neat form.

<quoted text>Unions created the Middle Class. Without them, workers pay a steep price.
Hostess is an example of Rmoney style economics. THe Hedge Fund managers rewarded themselves with millions in pay, while th workers were asked to take cut after cut after cut.
No argument. I never said the terms under which Hostess folded were fair. What I said was, the union has become a creature. Not that it always was.
Nuculur option wrote:
<quoted text>At some point, people will refuse to be pushed around by rich fools. Expect to see more of that in the next few years.
hard times have always been the best organizer for unions.
People will only 'refuse to be pushed around by rich fools' until they are literally starving, and watching their children literally starve. Not talking about the lack of the latest video game, or the latest version of Tickle Me Elmo - starving. No food.
Until THAT day,(and yes, we'll get there) we will be 'pushed around', denied, ridiculed, and divided one against the other. We already are.
Nuculur option wrote:
<quoted text>Expect WalMart to have unions in the next few years.
It's the new civil rights movement.
To compare unions to greedy Corporate interests is ignorant, and that's being kind.
Gee, Nuc, I sure wish that were true. I was raised by two different 'dads', one my father, and one my mother's 2nd husband, and their view of unions was radically different. My father saw them as a scourge (he sold steel pipe and tube to various oil companies for a living) and the other saw them as a tool (he was one of only three County Commissioners, of the 77 counties in the State we lived in, NOT to be indicted for malfeasance of public funds in 1981.) Neither harbored any illusions that the Unions were working for the working man, even 30 years ago.

What are the main things I'm wrong about in your opinion?

Why don't you move south you commie prick. Latest news from the investigation is that Obumbles is a lying prick. He and that slut Rice lied to the American people about Libya and he is responsible for 4 American deaths. What a useless tool this POS is. My guess is he will be impeached for lying to the American people. Good ridance to this POS.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Cancer

Take care because it's a rather downbeat day. You feel as though you have the cares of the world on your shoulders, and maybe you have. You've certainly got to cope with a lot of responsibility and duty, and there could also be delays and disappointments that need to be negotiated. Yes, it's a fairly miserable day but try to rise above it, otherwise you'll soon start to feel really wretched and sorry for yourself.
