Who was the politician who invested in private companies like McDonalds? It was Mitt Romney, the successful businessman who knew how to do his job. As well as this, the companies he chose would create job opportunies for young people, as well as increase their salary. Mitt Romney knew how to do his job, he is simply waiting to actually do it.
He's going to be waiting a long time.

Romney nostalgia sure showed up in a hurry

A Mexican company might buy Hostess. It would be most excellent if the Union Democrats that priced themselves out of jobs moved to Mexico.

Yep, the hurricane did it.
It wasn't the trashing of blacks & Hispanics by Romney & the right. Nope.
It wasn't trying to blame Obama for the Bush recession, Nope
It wasn't running a Candidate that flipped Flopped on each & every issue.
It wasn't running a Candidate the flubbed his first overseas trip.
It wasn't the constant flow of lies from Romney.
It wasn't his picking a really poor choice for VP.
Nope. it was the hurricane that demonstrated how good Obama dealt with it & an honest Republican Governor that acknowledged this.
Republicans - keep thinking it was just the hurricane & remain the out of touch party that would rather look toward winning the next election rather than help this country.
The problem with the Republican Party was not the hurricane. there weren't enough dumbasses like you who fell for there crap.
The really pathetic part ids that the Republicans called Obama a marxist, socialist, unAmerican while claiming it was his fault for the poor economy & how he dd a terrible job with foreign policy & hell, you even called him a murdered for Benghazi.....And you still couldn't bet him. It says either you people lied or you are evidently at lot worse than the things you said about Obama because he kicked your candidate's ass.

No, Mitt Romney is looking into it because he has the sense to not simply say it is the hurricane sandy. While the hurricane sandy may have played a part, it isn't the only reason, as it is too simple an incident to have an affect on the anti Obamas and the people who voted for Mitt Romney. Particular people have to have sided with Mitt Romney instead of simply having their minds changed by his 47% comments and the hurricane sandy.

Eliminating all the Government "giveaway" programs would put a big dent in it. I bet if and mammyfare was eliminated a vast majority of ghetto-rats would suddenly find jobs. I bet if Obamaphones were eliminated, a vast majority of ghetto-rats would still find a way to buy one. I bet if foods stamps were eliminated them ghetto-rats wouldn't starve. From the looks of most of them they live to eat anyway. They'd find a way. Maybe get a smaller wide-screen TV or put normal rims on their cars. Or they could just hock all their illegal guns. What the hell is Obama doing giving away food stamps anyway when, according to Moochelle, obesity is America's #1 health problem? Talk about hypocritical!

President Barack Obama on Sunday said that the U.S. is "fully supportive of Israel's right to defend itself."

The comments were made during his visit to Thailand.

Obama also said that the U.S. is seeking an end to violence in the region, according to Reuters. He said that he will know within the next 2 days whether or not progress can be made in ending conflict between Israel and Gaza.

The AP reports that Obama said peace in the region must begin with "no missiles being fired into Israel's territory."

"No country on earth would tolerate missiles raining down," Obama said, according to the AP.

The Party of Big Business

Most of the GOP base are people that look for employment as a means to providing for a family. They see their economic interests threatened by Republicans who want to expose their retirements to the stock market, who want them to pay for their health-care out of their take home wages, who give massive bailouts to connected corporate interests, while singing about self-reliance to the working man. Social issues and the Great Society pushed enormous blocs of the New Deal coalition into the GOP. Eventually this transformation of the party transformed some of the people in it. The GOP used to be in league with family planners and the birth control movement, now it is mostly pro-life. But weirdly even as this new coalition changed the GOP on social issues, the party remained fixed to its 1930s style anti-New Dealism.

Interpretation: Almost everyone asked about the Republicans' election drubbing this year seems to agree that an update is necessary for a party that appears to be running years behind Democrats in smear tactics, spreading outright falsehoods and intentionally dividing the electorate.
People tend to forget that if the election had been held before Hurricane Sandy, the outcome might have been a lot different. Romney lost his momentum while Obama could look presidential in the spotlight.
Obama was losing in the polls and his approval rating didn't improve until after the Hurricane.
Pretty much.
Carol we've never had back & forth dialect, but it amazes me how you can speak with such knowledge & be so correct on palestine & israel, then turn around & utter such nonsense about the romney obliteration in the election, or should I say the Obama dominance! I continually kept telling everyone"keep your eyes on the polls, they mean totally nothing." How can a poll tell who will likely vote when nobody I know in the state of New Jersey was even polled? Thats not a reason that you gave, thats an excuse! The true reason romney was routed was his novist overconfident entitled attitude. Everybody vying for the presidency says things like when I'm in office or thats why I will win, but romney said it out of entitlement. He said it because he thought he already deserved it & Obama didn't. That overconfident attitude spread throughout the republican party & consecutive political pundants. So much that romney's camp excluded certain races think & believing he was ahead so he didnt need them. Proved to be costly. Another mistake was he thought he could look more presidential than the president himself. The thought alone makes no sense. Romney didnt lose because of sandy. He loss because he blatantly disrespected womans rights, his ideology was the rich get richer & the poor stay poor, & as far as sandy goes, he said he would cut FEMA & sandy hyatt should him the need & how wrong he was. Stop making excuses & come up with a better strategy against Hillary in 2016!
