"Personhood" legislation is an attempt by people with conscience to fix what people without conscience have set asunder. It is a very imperfect attempt fraught with problems but at the very least someone is aware of the dead weight of dead children dragging us downward.
I make observations. I make judgements based on those observations. Gibran did it. Churchill did it. Ghandi did it. Aristotle did it. And I feel humble to stand in the shadows and in the company of such giants. Someday, may I be allowed to stand on their shoulders, too.
