Maybe the stores can do Twinkie rationing until they run out. Even/odd serial numbers for different days, on the power scooters that line up outside Wallyworld for them. If we get lucky we'll see a few fights break out and make it to youtube!

I suppose that's true. I donate and volunteer, but that doesn't necessarily make me a Christian; that is, according to the scriptures or Jesus Christ. Maybe that's what Mahatma meant. Of course, any good a person can do, is far better than doing all evil. Even though someone maybe otherwise be kind and caring for the most part, yet may still harbor hatred, bigotry, or discriminate, or cannot find forgiveness in his heart etc., then he falls short of being a true Christian. I do not practice mainstream religion. I only know that were all human. Except for an exceptional few, I believe it's impossible for anyone to be the perfect Christian. I just don't believe religion belongs in politics, because it's not genuine.

Since the reelection of President Obama, there’s been a surge of interest in secession. A petition on the White House webpage requesting that Washington allow Texas to secede has attracted over 100,000 signatures. The Washington Examiner notes that similar petitions have been established for Alaska, Rhode Island, New York, Maryland, Florida, Tennessee and Georgia, although these have attracted fewer signatures.

The petitions have no legal force and are semi-anonymous. Nevertheless, Erick Erickson of RedState thought it worth the effort to read them out of the conservative movement. Texas governor Rick Perry apparently concurs.

These developments are little more than linkbait for liberal bloggers. No state is going to secede. And I doubt that many of the petitioners are serious about wanting to do so.

linkbait.

Let's explore history a little bit more.
Stalin preached the crisis of capitalism would raise the consciousness of the working class to revolt.
Hitler's message to the worker was,“above all, the trade unions are necessary as foundation stones of the future economic parliament or chambers of estates”(Mein Kampf). He was so totally aligned with labor that he used terms like,“social justice” and “national community” to confirm their importance.
In Mein Kampf, Hitler goes into great detail about how National Socialism must realign all aspects of society to the goals of trade unions to create an equality of outcome. And if those aspects of society are not willing, they will be taken over (co-opted).
Along with universal healthcare, expanded animal welfare laws, support of healthy, organic foods and vegetarianism, a minimum wage, progressive taxation, and tight gun control — policies all shared by progressives from Roosevelt to Clinton to Obama, it is impossible for the left to separate themselves from Hitler. So they try a little “I’m rubber you’re glue” on the right. But it just doesn’t stick when you take a closer look.

""Barbara Bush On Obama's Reelection:'People Spoke. Move On, Get On With It'

""Former U.S. first lady Barbara Bush said on Thursday that she's ready to move beyond this year's campaign season, in comments that came at an Austin conference the week after President Barack Obama's re-election.

"I'm tired now of the elections," Bush, who had endorsed Republican Mitt Romney, said at a forum on America's first ladies. "People spoke. Move on, get on with it. I want to do other things and not to be ugly."

Bush, sporting a double strand of her signature pearls, joined former first lady Laura Bush on a panel for the Enduring Legacies of America's First Ladies conference at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library.

The first ladies avoided offering political opinions, but Barbara Bush did issue a stern warning to both Republicans and Democrats.

"They are going to have to compromise," said Barbara Bush, the wife of former President George H.W. Bush. "It's not a dirty word."

"It was impossible to miss John McCain’s growing desperation yesterday, as his plans to bring down Obama backfired and the narrative of the day became him skipping the very briefing that would have answered his questions. Trending on Yahoo all day was “John McCain Missed Briefing While Slamming Obama Over Benghazi Attack”. Alexa treated him no better.
Embarrassed and humiliated, the Senator screamed at a CNN for pointing out that while he appeared on TV to talk about how he needed more information about Benghazi, he missed his own committee briefing on Benghazi.
Asked to comment, he said,“I have the right as a senator to have no comment and who the hell are you to tell me I can or not?” Followed up by,“I’m upset that you keep badgering me.”"
That was funny. I could never imagine him as being president, either, lol. He's too hot headed.

Fox News' Benghazi Madness Proves The Network Won't Change

So much for the idea of right-wing media reform.

In the wake of the Mitt Romney's loss last week, conservative voices raised concerns about the state of right-wing press and how the "conservative entertainment complex," as writer David Frum dubbed it, had "fleeced" and "exploited" its followers by chronically, and purposefully, misinforming them about the issues of the day.

John McCain's former campaign manger, Steve Schmidt, lamented how much "power and the influence" the GOP Noise Machine has over Republican leadership. Today's commentators, he said, have given conservatism a "repellant" "snarl," said Schmidt.

Now, just ten days after Romney's drubbing, and just ten days after Republicans sounded alarms about chronic and paranoid misinformation on their side of the media aisle, Fox News is applying contorted pretzel logic as it desperately tries to turn the General David Petraeus extramarital affair story into a "Watergate"-like chapter in the supposed mega-scandal surrounding the terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
