Barack Obama, our next President

I'll bet that, unlike you, a high percentage of them actually served their country instead of attending protests against our military. They're more American than you'll ever be.

Been an O'Reilly fan as far back as Clinton's second term, more than 12 years now. O'Reilly's been pretty rational and even optimistic about the election actually. He reminded conservatives this is an opportunity to remain the loyal opposition.

That's me all over - the loyal opposition.

He also offered hope that conservatism and traditional values will return with the right messenger in 2016.

If we survive.

It's great, that in America, a private company can choose what holidays to observe. Did you know Hobby Lobby is closed on Sundays?
BTW, what religion started Thanksgiving?
The one of gratitude, for one of the most essential of human needs.
Food.

Something many people take soooo for SNAP card granted these days!!

Hey Eed, how are you?
Your wife sounds like a pillar of salt upon which this country once achieved greatness, the good old days. Liberals see hard work, duty to god, and a moral lifestyle as foolish.
Plus an Avon lady, are you taking a bubble bath right now?
"Peppy"
I married an angel. As to the bubble bath to night, heck of an idea, I'll have to follow up.

3 holidays out of a year is not much for families to spend time together, celebrating and having fun together. In case you haven't noticed, it's a rat race out there. So Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy Easter!
Thanks Homer.

Why are several states wanting to secede? Haven't caught much of the squawk and parrot, blather and repeat stuff lately.

This must be free, he can't pay for it:

Technology, Innovation and Creating Jobs
Obama and Biden will increase federal support for research, technology and innovation for companies and universities so that American workers can lead the world in cutting edge jobs and products. Read more.

This too:

Work/Family Balance
Obama and Biden will help working families by doubling funding for after-school programs, expanding the Family Medical Leave Act. They will provide low-income families with a refundable tax credit to help with their child-care expenses, and encourage flexible work schedules. Read more.

May the next four be better..on the RIGHT tracks again-instead of many WRONG ones!!

Well than, by that definition, my family and I are probably not true liberals. But just the same, I fear losing SS or medicare, and because I put into it all of these years, I feel "entitled". I am nervous about the future. I see how people have become so greedy, resentful and hateful concerning others. I know that probably is because there are so many more people in the world, putting a great demand on resources. My spouse and I were cautious and saved whatever we could, yet with high medical costs and insurance premiums, increasing food costs, it is making me feel all the more insecure. I'm not poor, but certainly far from being rich. I still believe that all people should have access to affordable healthcare, though. I never liked seeing anyone suffer. It's not in my character.
Liberals and conservatives alike want security and peace of mind. Liberal scare tactics aside, no one wants to take away medicare and social security. You paid into the system so you deserve to take back from the system, after all it is your own money being returned. Inflation and cost of food is a bit different, but a hearty economy fueled by job growth is the best medicine. Perhaps you believe Obama was the best choice for this issue, I do not. Business in america has no confidence in Obama and his policies concerning regulation inhibit job growth.

BTW, I agree with you on all your points and feel very much the same way. No one should starve and no one should freeze in the streets. No one should be denied essential medical care.
