Carol, the Republicans have been creating gridlock for the past four years to prevent anything from happening. They blocked the American Jobs Act which would have added jobs and brought unemployment down.<quoted text>
The American people also favored reelecting Obama. Let's let them have their wish and see if Obama and the Democrats can fix this mess or go down in flames.
That's what Republicans should do. Creating a gridlock to prevent the worst from happening will backfire. Liberals will blame them and have a scapegoat. They need to get out of the way, let the worst happen and come out on top blameless in 2014 and 2016. That's what I think anyway.
