Let it all collapse. There is NO interest from the liberals here (or other places) to get along with anyone else to begin with, so whether or not anyone is being "blamed" for not taking their pants off and sticking as much lube up there as possible is secondary.Post-Pew poll: Fiscal cliff negotiations predicted to fail
But Republicans in Congress may face more public pressure to make concessions. Should negotiations break down to avoid the $500 billion rash of automatic tax hikes and spending cuts, 53 percent are inclined to blame Republicans in Congress while 29 percent single out Obama.
The "republicans" who choose the above is not going to help society advance anyways and neither is the rest of the party. We need a NEW alternative. Let the liberals celebrate and stay intoxicated while they can. Still a few more weeks until 2013. Still enough time to shift assets it looks like.
So yes, seeing the gloating here, there is no reason for republicans to cave. If they do, the libs will say they caved to pressure and only did it for votes and if not they will rant and class-pander about it.
(Why idiot republicans keep smiling to the ones who spit them in the eye at any time is a mystery to me).
