Barack Obama, our next President

Wait another two years. You'll see.
How many "two more years" do you think you have left, carol? Think you'll make it long enough to find out Hillary's decision in 2016? Give us some more predictions please. Romney in a landslide? Bachmann with 400 electoral votes?

There is no cure for ignorance...
Stop with the fault finding, whining, racism. Black people are 13% of the electorate which means that a whole lot of Latinos, women, Asians, young people and White college graduates that voted with him too. Did they vote for him because he was Black, or was it because the Republicans scare them.

America does want an older, all-white male party, especially the white racist tea party, to represent their interests.

Black people didn't vote for Obama because he was Black. They voted for him because Republicans have nothing to offer Blacks.

Rasmussen said Obama's approval rating was at 50% right before the election.

It's because he took good pictures with Christie right after Hurricane Sandy and Soros paid a lot of people to get on the bus to vote for Obama.

Just speculating about the last part.

We won’t be talking about Ohio, we won’t be talking about Florida or Virginia, because it won’t matter. If Texas is bright blue, you can’t get to two-seventy electoral votes. The Republican Party would cease to exist. We would become like the Whig Party. Our kids and grandkids would study how this used to be a national political party.‘They had Conventions, they nominated Presidential candidates. They don’t exist anymore.’”

<quoted text>WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—The scandal involving former C.I.A. director David Petraeus took a startling twist today, as a leading right-wing conspiracy theorist claimed that Gen. Petraeus initiated his affair with author Paula Broadwell last year to avoid testifying about Benghazi this week.

“Petraeus is a master of strategy, capable of playing several chess moves ahead,” said Harland Dorrinson, who has a website.“Clearly, he knew it would be handy to be embroiled in an extra-marital affair if the situation in Benghazi someday went south and he was forced to testify about it.”

By destroying his career, reputation, and possibly his personal life, Mr. Dorrinson said,“General Petraeus achieved exactly what he set out to do: skip testifying about Benghazi. All I can say is, mission accomplished, General. Pretty smooth.”

Even though “the reason Petraeus started his affair is obvious to anyone with a brain in his head,” Mr. Dorrinson says, he does not expect the mainstream media to investigate his theory any time soon:“The only person I’ve been able to get interested in this is Karl Rove.”
I knew there was more to this story. Slimy military man. "Serving" our country, eh?

Thanks for clarifying, Lily.

So. Size doesn't matter. If the system works, it works.

The exchanges go state to state, each state has its own under the federal guidelines.

I don't blame you for you point of view, if you feel like I'm brainwashed, then more power to you. I used to be a liberal also, until I realized that people need to be accountable for themselves. It's not my responsibility to take care of someone who doesn't want to work. Does that make me a racist? I'm mostly black BTW. The funniest thing happened to me today. I was in a 7-11 getting a coffee, and a heavyset black woman goes up to the counter with her welfare card, she tried to use the card, and it was declined. She sits there for minutes arguing with Kumar or whatever his name was, saying that she has money on the card. For me, that was embarrassing, because this black woman was obviously an able bodied individual who could be working, but instead, shes living off of my and your (assuming you work)tax dollars. You obviously voted for Obama, and yes I'm proud to have a Black President, but I didn't vote for him, especially just because he's black. I work hard for everything I have. Why can't others work hard too.
Do you think it's acceptable for people to make excuses for their own well being? Voting for socialist policies is detrimental to us, you make think it helps to have the government on your side, but its actually working against those who should be trying to better themselves, instead they live off the government and that gives them zero incentive to improve their standard of life. Maybe you're the one who's brainwashed, you're doing exactly what the current government wants you to do, supporting socialism, and for what? Welfare? Free Birth Control and Free Cell phones? Come on bro, you know better than that!
The fat black woman you mentioned may have tried to use a welfare card, but how do you know she chose not to work? I have used welfare (food stamps) twice in my entire life. Both times were very brief. I got off as quickly as possible (a matter of a few months tops). I am not condemning anyone who is on welfare. If you have to use them then do so. I know plenty of people who, like me, got of welfare as quickly as possible. I also work hard for everything I have. It may not be much, but I work hard to get that.

Unless the definition of socialists has changed, socialism means state owned. With that in mind, if you are referring to Obamacare as a socialist program, there is nothing socialist about Obamas healthcare reform. Both the state and federal government does not, and will not, own any of the insurance companies that are selling healthcare. Therefore, it is not socialism.

It is no one's responsible to take care of someone who does not want to work. If they don't work they should not eat. That does not make you or me a racist. But if you want to work but are, for whatever reason, unable to, than that is another story all together.

You have the untrammeled option to change internet service providers at any time. If you choose to live in an area which is exclusively serviced by AOL, well that's YOUR CHOICE.

This is what's known as personal responsibility. Perhaps you've heard of it.

Yes, they adjusted their numbers immediately before the election because they caught on. They woke up, as most of America had already done, and knew they were way off. Gallup did exactly the same thing. They fooled the Republicans and Romney's campaign throughout the election process.

You can thank us for providing you with credible sources in polling, or you can continue to believe your conservative rhetoric. Those on this board who regularly provided information from the fivethirtyeight blog from NYTimes were slammed. Gosh, we ARE right....again.

Nice job, Ed. To call those who enlist in the Navy 'cowards'

If you weren't a dementia patient, I'd be angry.

But you can tell your coward story to the thousands of sailors who died at Pearl Harbor, where the USS Arizona is a tribute to the bravery of the 'cowards' who fought the Japanese.

Or the sailors at Leyte Gulf, Midway, Coral Sea, etc. Without the 'cowards' of the NAvy, we never would have defeated the Japanese in the largest ocean war in history!!

You are so reliably ignorant, it's breathtaking.

Congratulations to Ed for lowering himself to a hateful cretin, insulting a branch of our military and calling them 'cowards'.

Youve proven you're the lowest of the low, and on Veterans Day, no less!!

One more thing you are lying about I have never directed obscene comments at "silly". I have called her out when she lied. I have called her a hypocrite and a bigot for some of her stances. She offered he condolences about my daughters death. If "silly" has an ounce of decency she will point out that you are a liar.

Knokd it off with the lies about a dead daughter, Ed.

I was here the night you were playing 'I can top that' with Ghost. He told a lie, you countered with a bigger lie. When you got to dead relatives, we all knew what a sick puppy you are.

You can repeat it all you want, but the story about a dead daughter is just that, a story.

You can say anything on the internet, no way to prove it either way. So you choose to make up whoppers of lies to gain sympathy.

I, for one, know you are a liar, and lied about the daughter.

So, as you're fond of saying, GFY!!
