Romney's off the record remark hurt him, no doubt.<quoted text>
.....the more they insulted the president with birther cracks, the more they tried to force chastity belts on women, and the more they made Hispanics, blacks and gays feel like the help, the more these groups burned to prove that, knitted together, they could give the dead-enders of white male domination the boot.
Most of the 47% are victims of government dependency but are still afraid of losing what the government provides as long as there are no jobs. He wasn't talking about Medicare and SS recipients even though they were lumped in with the rest.
It was an unfortunate remark but it was a referral to the percentage he believed would not vote for him. Even though Romney came out immediately and said he was dead wrong, the damage had been done.
There is far too much dependency in this country and it's only going to get worse.
Most Americans should have been able to figure that out in spite of Romney's poor choice of words.
Apparently, most Americans have no problem with the government taking care of them instead of the government getting out of the way so they can find another job.
