<quoted text>I bet you are correct. But it's kind of strange. Most everyone at The Villages get a government check each month and almost all of them are on that universal government health care called Medicare.
And they all paid into those programs their entire working lives, which in their case is probably a pretty long time.

What's your point?

Today will will learn whether it will be acceptable for future Congresses to sacrifice the good of the country for 4 years just to make the opposing party's president look bad.

Today, we will learn whether people are so f*cking stupid that they will believe a candidate who spent 8 years in Congress running up the debt & then run for election based on the debt is out of control. Paul Ryan

Today we will learn how long it takes for one political party to go from one administration that creates the worst recession in 80 years, a housing collapse, a near financial meltdown & two quagmire wars to regaining the White House.

Today we will learn whether we want to give up Medicare as we know it to go to a voucher program that saves money by making old people pay more.

A recent CNN poll gives Romney a commanding 59-35% lead among Independent voters in the too-close-to-call presidential race.

While one can imagine who self-identified Republicans would vote for, the Independents are more difficult to predict.

This poll is one piece of evidence that Independents prefer Romney over Obama, big time.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Capricorn

You're keen to look on the bright side of things and to ignore anything unpleasant or worrying. That's fine, provided that you're ready to face up to life's difficulties again tomorrow. But it's not such good news if you persist in looking the other way whenever a problem presents itself, especially if it's connected with your work or health. It may be time to face a few facts, Capricorn.
