Bush left a hell of a mess.
Obama has fixed most of it. America sees that, which is why he'll be reelected.
ALL economists agree that the economy is on much firmer footing and improving. Contrast that with all that Obama had to fix, the devastation left by Bush and his cronies.
Bush's lies about WMD's is what started the decline.
It's been hard, but Obama has got the economy back to growth mode again. When he came in, we were losing 800,000 jobs a month.

You have no clue as to Jesus or his personal beliefs. Remember, we have no writing from the hand of Jesus, only those who wrote it down long after his death, the Bible has been bastardized countless times, due to translation problems and the beliefs and biases of the translators and early Popes.
The thing you call the Bible is a construct of early Catholic Popes, with many important writings left out, at the whim of the Vatican.
It's been proven over and over. You quietly walk off when Jesus is discussed.
Jesus was a community organizer for the poor. It's that simple.
Yet you believe he was a supporter of the wealthy, proving you have no clue as to what Jesus was all about.
Of course, having a clue about anything is not your forte'.
Proof is how quickly you came to support Rmoney, after you mistrusted him throughout the Republiclown primaries.
Goes for every one of the right wingnuts on this thread.
It's not that you're for Rmoney so much as you hate Obama, due to your racist upbringing.
Jesus loves you. He loves me too. He loves us all.

That's all we need to know.

Now, no more of this psychoanalyzing the Son of Man. Okay?

Your ignorance is amazing!!

""Mitt Romney is pro-life. He believes it speaks well of the country that almost all Americans recognize that abortion is a problem. And in the quiet of conscience, people of both political parties know that more than a million abortions a year cannot be squared with the good heart of America.

Mitt believes that life begins at conception and wishes that the laws of our nation reflected that view. But while the nation remains so divided, he believes that the right next step is for the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade – a case of blatant judicial activism that took a decision that should be left to the people and placed it in the hands of unelected judges. With Roe overturned, states will be empowered through the democratic process to determine their own abortion laws and not have them dictated by judicial mandate.""

<quoted text>How long did you have to live in one? Might account for the brain rot. "In the days after hurricane Katrina devastated southern Louisiana and Mississippi, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) bought 145,000 trailers to house the thousands of victims displaced by the storm. Over the next five years, the trailers -- which emitted unhealthy levels of formaldehyde, but which were nevertheless used by thousands who couldn't find any other place to live -- became a symbol of the federal government's bumbling in the face of a national tragedy. Sold at auction, and then repurposed as housing for BP cleanup workers, the trailers remain a problem that just won't go away.
The FEMA trailer debacle began with the highest of hopes and the best of intentions. Using temporary housing to shelter victims of natural disasters is hardly a new idea; in the wake of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, survivors lived in temporary shacks, and FEMA used trailers after Hurricane Andrew hit Florida in 1994. When Katrina destroyed 75% of the housing units in New Orleans, the agency scurried to respond to the disaster, spending $2.7 billion on 145,000 trailers and mobile homes to house an estimated 770,000 newly-homeless victims of the hurricane.
Unfortunately, in the rush to find temporary housing, problems quickly emerged. Many of the trailers FEMA purchased were, by its own standards, unsuitable for deployment in a flood plain. Even worse, an estimated 42% of them emitted toxic levels of formaldehyde, a chemical that causes nasal cancer and nosebleeds, and can aggravate asthma and other respiratory problems. Nevertheless, faced with a choice between homelessness or living in toxic trailers, thousands chose to stay in the FEMA trailers.
Originally, the trailers were supposed to house residents for a maximum of eighteen months. But five years after Katrina hit the Gulf coast, 860 Louisiana and 176 Mississippi families still live in FEMA-owned shelters. But those residents represent only a fraction of the problem: According to experts, thousands of other Katrina victims live in trailers purchased from FEMA, while 12,000 people are still homeless in New Orleans.
Meanwhile, since 2006, FEMA has sold over 130,000 of the trailers for a total of $279 million; at one auction in January 2010, the agency sold 93,000 of them for $133 million. The sales prompted massive controversy, partially for the poor resale cost: the January sale yielded approximately seven cents on the dollar. More importantly, critics worried that the formaldehyde-emitting trailers, many of which were outfitted with labels declaring them unfit for human habitation, would be passed along to bargain-hunting home buyers.
During the BP oil spill cleanup, an even more insidious development occurred: as the New York Times reported in June, the trailers -- often missing their government-mandated warning labels -- were re-purposed as temporary housing for cleanup workers. The shelters may have lacked proper documentation, but they still had the formaldehyde. For example, Alpha-One, a disaster contracting firm in the Gulf area, sold dozens of the trailers to cleanup companies. Asked about the sale, the company's owner, Ron Mason, dismissed the formaldehyde threat: "Look, you know that new car smell? Well, that's formaldehyde, too. The stuff is in everything. It's not a big deal."
Right after hurricane Agnes devastated Eastern PA in 1972 leaving thousands homeless with no chance for rebuilding, thousands of full sized single wide mobile homes were delivered from manufacturers throughout Midwest and Southern US.

Pre FEMA, HUD picked up the ginormous tab and the results were similar___most were inhabited only briefly others not at all and the 12 wide 60 something feet long trailers ended up in large storage facilities where they quickly deteriorated and then rotted.
One such storage facility was on top of a massive boney pile in Wilkes Barre__uglee!

MADISON, Wis.—The tea party, at least its widespread influence on Republican congressional candidates, "is over," declared the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the party group charged with electing Democrats to the House.

"House Republican incumbents—and their candidates—are running as far away from the Tea Party as they can," a pre-election DCCC memo provided to Yahoo News reads. "Regardless of whether [Republicans] win or lose, the Tea Party of 2010 is over. They've been forced on defense in the message fight all cycle long, and now those who win will have done so by giving up on the Tea Party."

The memo argues that Republican lawmakers who arose from the tea party are now promoting bipartisanship and willingness to compromise in their re-election bids instead of embracing the hard-line messages that propelled their campaigns two years ago.

It is possible, of course, that this Democratic declaration is premature. Tea party-backed candidates dominated Republican primary contests across the country in 2012, launching what could be a new class of future Republican leaders. In Texas, Ted Cruz defeated the establishment candidate backed by Gov. Rick Perry, and in Indiana, Richard Mourdock forced longtime Republican Sen. Richard Lugar into early retirement. Looking to 2013, tea party groups who are begrudgingly backing Mitt Romney have vowed to press him, should he become president, toward conservative positions.

The tea party, a grass-roots network of conservative activists, drove many Republican House and Senate candidates to victory in the midterm elections two years ago, but its influence seems to be overshadowed in 2012 by the presidential election. Still, the infrastructure that was built since the movement launched in 2009 has been used to promote Republican congressional candidates and serve as a backup ground game for Romney's presidential campaign.

Regardless of the health of the tea party's influence this election cycle, Republicans are widely expected to retain control of the House.

Of course George Will is backing Romney. They both have NO side they can stay on of any issue. Example:
.
When Republican senators filibustered President Clinton's economic stimulus bill in 1993, columnist George Will vigorously defended the Senate rule that requires the votes of at least 60 senators, a so-called supermajority, to impose an end to debate. In a column headlined "The Framers' Intent" (Washington Post, 4/25/93), Will praised "the right of a minority to use extended debate to obstruct Senate action"
.
Ten years later, Will reversed himself. In the column "Coup Against the Constitution" (Washington Post, 2/28/03), Will found the Senate rule he'd once draped in the mantle of original intent was in fact an affront to the framers.
