Barack Obama, our next President

Full story: Hampton Roads Daily Press

"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep," Obama cautioned. Young and charismatic but with little experience on the national level, Obama smashed through racial barriers and easily defeated ...

WALTER RUSSELL MEAD: Black Depression.
The October employment numbers deepened the gloom among African Americans and those (including the Via Meadia team) who believe that the United States as a whole cannot progress as it should unless African Americans are getting ahead too. As a report from Think Progress reminds us, in October, African American unemployment rose almost a full percentage point to 14.3 percent.
As we’ve noted in earlier posts, unemployment is only part of the story. America’s Black middle class is facing a crisis of historic proportions. African Americans were among the biggest losers in the housing bubble; well intentioned but ill advised policy changes intended to get more low income families and marginal households into home ownership kicked in just in time to lure African American families into the housing market at the peak of the bubble. The loss of wealth and savings has been nothing short of catastrophic; decades of progress in building net worth for middle class and lower middle class minority families have been wiped out since 2007.
So. How’s that hopey-changey stuff workin’ out for ya?

<quoted text> It's getting horrible. You see how small a box of cereal costs while the box is half the size? I don't know how some people are making it. WalMart is cheaper than the main grocery stores. Even people I know who never used coupons are now asking me if I'm going to use coupons that come in the mail and paper.
Ever check on how much aluminum you are eating with that sugar coated poison?
No wonder we have so many cases of alzheimers, dementia and diabetes. You people don't know how to eat. I see all the fatsos in their hoverrounds buying gallons and gallons of ice cream, cereal, crackers, white bread, cookies, processed food; did it ever occur to them that the reason they can't walk is because of what they eat?

That explains how Porkulus upgraded the infrastructure of New York and New Jersey and buried the power lines like everyone knows should be done since the first storm blew the first electrical pole over and the first tree fell on the first power line the first time a hurricane came ashore after America started using electricity.
860 billion dollars stuffed into the pockets of Democrat cronies, and not one dollar spent to upgrade the infrastructure.
Yup, those people eating cold canned food in the dark in New York and New Jersey should continue voting for Obama. It won't be long before they'll be just like everyone else in the country, eating cold canned food in the dark.

Actually, we were climbing out of it in January, 2007, when the Democrats took over all the purse strings of the US government and were handed a declining 0.16 (that's zero point one six) trillion dollar deficit DURING A WAR, and a total debt of 5 trillion dollars.
What have the Demcorats done to that since?
Did you say they increased the deficit by ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED PERCENT?
Did you say the more than tripled the debt to the 16 trillion dollars it is today?
Thanks for clearing that up for us.

For one thing, by using words like "revenge." By seeing how the black panthers haunted polls with weapons in their hands and not having the justice department do a damn thing about it. By bowing down like someone inferior to Saudis and Chinese. White presidents don't feel inferior. By increasing the dependence of blacks on the government and the number of unemployed blacks. The resulting whiney "gimme" attitude doesn't make working middle class American fond of them.

For starters.

I thought it was great when a black man was elected president. Now I feel resentful because of his attitudes and lack of love for this country.

Bush left a hell of a mess.

Obama has fixed most of it. America sees that, which is why he'll be reelected.

ALL economists agree that the economy is on much firmer footing and improving. Contrast that with all that Obama had to fix, the devastation left by Bush and his cronies.

Bush's lies about WMD's is what started the decline.

It's been hard, but Obama has got the economy back to growth mode again. When he came in, we were losing 800,000 jobs a month.

The little one likes Cheerio's for breakfast. But she also gets French Toast, pancakes, and eggs and bacon. For the most part it not what you eat but how much and whether you get exercise. My grandfather would have laughed at the idea of paying someone to let you exercise. He was too busy working, farming, and walking everywhere to worry about exercise. Americans have become a nation of slackers due mainly to television and technology.

Here's why you shouldn't have dropped out in 6th grade.

You weren't aware that both Bush Wars were run off budget??

In other words, the expense for the wars, Trillions of dollars, were not put into the Federal Budget.

therefore, the Federal Budget under Bush was a sham, with major expenses not factored into the bugdet.

Glad I could help the mentally challenged once again.
