Isn't there some kind of requirement that says the VP should be able to tell you at all times where he actually is? Kinda like an Alzheimer's test?
The fact that Obama didn't ask the "crazy old uncle" to retire and get some rest and then choose another running mate adds just one more big fat question to Obama's decision making skills.
It's part of the "make Obama look good at any cost" strategy.
