If you really think running a country at such a high deficit is the solution to our economic woes then obviously you don't have a firm grasp of mathematics.<quoted text>
I guess that what you don't understand is that the only enitity that could fix our economy is the government. Yes there is a high deficeit. I really would have wanted President Obama to become Presient after President Clinton where there was a surplus. Not what Bush left President Obama, a deficeit. Yes the country would have been in alot better condition if we would have not voted in a Republican after a Democrat had fixed things. President Obama is fixing the economy. Each day there are signs that it is getting better. All I can say is to those middle class voters that listened to people that talked them into voting for Bush and want to tell them who to vote for, now. They should ignor them. They are the ones that are bad for the middle class and the country.
Deficit spending means our government is spending money it doesn't have. If it doesn't have the money, but spends it anyway that means the government has to borrow it and/or print more of it.
If the government borrows it that means the government haxs to pay interest on the money they borrow. The interest gets figured in to the money the government owes. The more the government borrows the worse this gets.
Having a government that is running at such a high level of debt crates all kind of uncertainty in the financial markets. This affects everyone in every income level.
If the government prints it that directly results in the value of the dollar declineing. When the value of the dollar goes down that means we all pay more for everything. Because the economy is not improving our salaries have been stagnant for the most part. We are having to pay for the basic staples of life like food and energy but those costs kkeep going up every time the fed goes to the printing press.
Both of these solutions are in fact a tax on everyone, but the people who feel it the most are the working middle class.
The best thing the middle class can do right now is to fire Obama and elect someone who knows how to repair the economy Mitt Romney to the office of POTUS.
