Hoboken? Queens? Manhatten? "Well" water contamination in the Bronx?
Moron's idea of "rich folks"-anything above the Maryland line.
DUHMmy. You oughta be smacked.
R/R/CHRISTIE(would say "shut the flock up" DUHMmy.)
New York City's water supply is from surface water reservoirs in upstate NY...not from wells in the Bronx.....

Wait a minute...did NBC News just say in that article I posted that most economists are warning that if Congress doesn't modify or postpone reining in budget deficits there will almost certainly be a recession next year?
What the heck? I just re-read it and have no idea now what they were saying.
But I'm too tired to deal with it tonight. Maybe someone else can figure it out and I'll read it later.
almost all economists agree that the combination of ending the Bush tax rates and budget sequestration will cause a recession.....which we are already on the brink of....

A strong Federal government able to aid the American People is needed. FEMA, Medicare, Social Security, pre existing conditions need to be Federal.
Romney may have miscalculated on these and we may know next week

Storm hits the northeast, Lord Obama is all over it. Writing checks hard and fast. Rolling those sleeves up. Looking concerned and earnest every time a camera is pointed at him.

Is it too late to film a documentary on "Lord Obama, Storm Hero"?

Guess if you live in a key electoral state, there's nothing Lord Obama won't do for you.

And if you are screaming for help while a consulate burns down around you, you're on your own.

Just check in on FauxNews. The same thing as I posted 5 hours ago. Block and protect Mitt it seems will be there goal for the next 6 days.
.
..
So for over a week now instead of reporting on Sandy or the election or Romney, FauxNews has ran nothing but 24/7 Benghazi.. They are trying their best to take the focus off Mitt and run block for him. Talk about anything but Mitt wanting to do away with FEMA or his new lie ad about Jeep. 24/7 about anything but Mitt's failing second time run for President.

Get with it, Lily. Your post is a bit short on details.

"The stop was billed as a “storm relief” event, and attendees were asked to bring non-perishable foods and other items for those affected by the storm. Long white tables to one side of the cavernous James S. Trent Arena were piled high with flashlights, batteries, diapers, toothbrushes, mini-deodorants, fleece blankets, cereal, toilet paper and canned goods.

Two large TV screens at the front of the venue bore the logo of the American Red Cross and the message:“Sandy: Support the Relief Effort. Text ’REDCROSS’ to 90999 to make a $10 donation.”

“We’re going to box these things up in just a minute and put them on some trucks, and then we’re going to send them into, I think it’s New Jersey. There’s a site we’ve identified where we can take these goods and distribute them to people who need them,” he said."

I suppose the next thing you'll bitch about is Romney not having a blood drive.

Meanwhile-while Christie et al handle the natural disaster-the dolts can ponder some more-- on just ANSWERING the questions of the AVOIDABLE disaster (aka LIBYA).

1.Why were the special ops/tactile groups pulled out just weeks before the Sept 11 terrorist attack on the consulate, decreasing security, with prior trouble already apparent?

2. Why were the repeated requests for increased security measures overtly ignored, repeatedly?

Bain Capital "Success story"
In his 2009 book The Buyout of America: How Private Equity Is Destroying Jobs and Killing the American Economy, Josh Kosman described Bain Capital as "notorious for its failure to plow profits back into its businesses," being the first large private-equity firm to derive a large fraction of its revenues from corporate dividends and other distributions. The revenue potential of this strategy, which may "starve" a company of capital,[138] was increased by a 1970s court ruling that allowed companies to consider the entire fair-market value of the company, instead of only their "hard assets", in determining how much money was available to pay dividends. In at least some instances, companies acquired by Bain borrowed money in order to increase their dividend payments, ultimately leading to the collapse of what had been financially stable businesses.
Sounds a lot like a typical Wall St success story, profits made on deceit.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Aries

You're idealistic and impressionable today, and want to see the best in everyone. Look straight past their faults, pretending they aren't there; concentrate on their good points instead. If a new relationship gets off the ground now it will always be characterized by an aura of romance and fantasy, and a slightly otherworldly quality.
