So you are saying that the recession started while the Democrats had control of both the House and the Senate. Wouldn't that make it a Pelosi/Reid recession?
One of the prime causes of the housing crash was the abuse of the Community Reinvestment Act first signed into law by President Jimmy Carter. In 1991, ACORN took over the House Banking Committee room for two days to protest efforts to scale back the CRA. In 1994 Barack Obama represented ACORN in the Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank Fed. Sav. Bank suit against redlining. Obama represented 186 black clients in his landmark mortgage discrimination lawsuit against Citibank. As few as 19 of those 186 clients still own homes with clean credit ratings, following a decade in which Obama and other progressives pushed banks to provide mortgages to poor blacks.
Obama is part of the problem, not part of the solution.
Show me a list of legislation the Democrats passed in the first 9 months of 2007 that took us from the rosy Bush economy to the worst recession in 80 years.i keep asking you right whiners yet no one can answer.

So provide the list or STFU.

BTW, I am glad you believe in discrimination in the banking industry, racist f*ck.

Fox News reported that when CIA officers at the annex called higher-ups to tell them the consulate was under fire, they were twice told to "stand down." The CIA publicly denied the report.

The officials said that at no point was the team told to wait. second-guessing from senior officials monitoring the situation from afar.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to provide intelligence information publicly.

Isn't that the same thing Hannity said?

Thank you for your post. Just out of curiosity I have been tracking your BULLMANURE. In the last 10 days+ you have posted just over 350 pieces of BULLMANURE. In the same period of time more than 500 from 65 different posters posts have been directed at you, laughing at you and mocking you.
I will say on an average day a couple of nuts agreed with your BULLMANURE, the numbers, 14 different posters on 26 occasions supported the BULLMANURE you spew.
"real dumb" even you are not so dumb that you missed the laughter and derision directed at you.

‘We Need Food, We Need Clothing’: Staten Island Residents Plead for Help 3 Days After Sandy

The residents of Staten Island are pleading for help from elected officials, begging for gasoline, food and clothing three days after Sandy slammed the New York City borough.

“We’re going to die! We’re going to freeze! We got 90-year-old people!” Donna Solli told visiting officials.“You don’t understand. You gotta get your trucks down here on the corner now. It’s been three days!”

Staten Island was one of the hardest-hit communities in New York City. More than 80,000 residents are still without power. Many are homeless, and at least 19 people died on Staten Island because of the storm.

One of the devastated neighborhoods was overwhelmed by a violent surge of water. Residents described a super-sized wave as high as 20 feet, with water rushing into the streets like rapids.

Obama, parting in Las Vegas, had no comment except to blame George Bush.

You are dumb and a liar. The truth is you post about 35 - 40 times a day. The result you get about 50 posts a day laughing at your stoopidity and may 2 a day that support your BULLMANURE.
In the last hour or so you have posted 4 times and have been the target of 6 posts laughing at you. About normal.

<quoted text>"A new ad from the Obama campaign takes aim at Mitt Romney’s performance as governor of Massachusetts, claiming he had “one of the worst economic records in the country.” But the ad overreaches with several of its claims.

The ad states that job creation in Massachusetts “fell” to 47th under Romney. That’s a bit misleading. Massachusetts’ state ranking for job growth went from 50th the year before he took office, to 28th in his final year. It was 47th for the whole of his four-year tenure, but it was improving, not declining, when he left."
I guess Romney must have built a munitions factory in Massachusetts when he was governor. God help the world if he is elected.(Note) good idea is to buy stocks in body bag companies if you want to get rich under Romney.

Today, President Bush announced a new goal to help increase the number of minority homeowners by at least 5.5 million before the end of the decade. The President's aggressive housing agenda will help dismantle the barriers to homeownership by providing down payment assistance, increasing the supply of affordable homes, increasing support for self-help homeownership programs, and simplifying the home buying process & increasing education. The President also issued "America's Homeownership Challenge" to the real estate and mortgage finance industries to join in his effort to increase the number of minority homeowners by taking concrete steps to tear down the barriers to homeownership that face minority families.

Sounds great but did Bush say give loans to people that can't pay for them?

THE seeds of today’s financial meltdown lie in the Community Reinvestment Act – a law passed in 1977 and made riskier by unwise amendments and regulatory rulings in later decades.
CRA was meant to encourage banks to make loans to high-risk borrowers, often minorities living in unstable neighborhoods. That has provided an opening to radical groups like ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) to abuse the law by forcing banks to make hundreds of millions of dollars in “subprime” loans to often uncreditworthy poor and minority customers.
Any bank that wants to expand or merge with another has to show it has complied with CRA – and approval can be held up by complaints filed by groups like ACORN.
In fact, intimidation tactics, public charges of racism and threats to use CRA to block business expansion have enabled ACORN to extract hundreds of millions of dollars in loans and contributions from America’s financial institutions .
The Woods Fund report makes it clear Obama was fully aware of the intimidation tactics used by ACORN’s Madeline Talbott in her pioneering efforts to force banks to suspend their usual credit standards. Yet he supported Talbott in every conceivable way. He trained her personal staff and other aspiring ACORN leaders, he consulted with her extensively, and he arranged a major boost in foundation funding for her efforts.
And, as the leader of another charity, the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, Obama channeled more funding Talbott’s way – ostensibly for education projects but surely supportive of ACORN’s overall efforts.

About 3300 more people have committed suicide each year during Obama's presidency so those body bags are already spoken for.
