You sound a lot like Liberal MSM. They didn't "let it go", Dood. They buried it. Just like you are trying so desperately to do:)

Europe is not "drowning in socialism" just because you say so. Nor are ALL their voters demanding "free everything".
There is an element of truth in what you say, but you exaggerate. For example, much of Spain's trouble lies in a popped real estate bubble similar to what happened here. However, in support of your argument, a good deal of money was spent on social programs as happened in Greece.
The EU may, indeed, break up. But the cause of it, assuming it happens, will be a handful of countries, not the majority.
This is a classic example of left wing spin.

It's either not happening, not as severe or not as simple or ....

The elephant is standing in the room regardless of all your protestations to the contrary.

Well, at least you admit they're partisan.
Care to provide examples of any MSNBC hosts demanding Fox be censored?
Once huge difference between Fox and MSNBC is that MSNBC doesn't dole out huge financial contributions to political candidates.
Here's one example of Fox News Spin:
As the health-care debate was heating up in the summer of 2009, Republican pollster Frank Luntz offered Sean Hannity some advice.
Luntz, who counseled the GOP on how to sell the 1994 Contract With America, told the Fox News host to stop using President Obama’s preferred term for a key provision.
“If you call it a public option, the American people are split,” he explained.“If you call it the government option, the public is overwhelmingly against it.”
“A great point,” Hannity declared.“And from now on, I'm going to call it the government option, because that's what it is.”
On Oct. 27, the day after Senate Democrats introduced a bill with a public insurance option from which states could opt out, Bill Sammon, a Fox News vice president and Washington managing editor, sent the staff a memo. Sammon is a former Washington Times reporter.
“Please use the term ‘government-run health insurance,’ or, when brevity is a concern,‘government option,’ whenever possible,” the memo said.
Hey! Can you give us a list of excuses for Chris Mathews and his groveling and asskissing for the Boy Messiah?

You seem to be good at this humor thingee and I like to laugh at Liberals. Please, go for it. See what you can do, OK?

Thanx.

So it's basically the Bible belt of the USA locked into the 1950's with Mitt "Mad Man" Romney's view of the world vs a more 21st century Obama approach which seems to be in sync with everyone elses opinion. That includes climate change, monetary policies and foriegn policy.
A Lowy Institute poll this year found a whopping 80 per cent of Australians want to see Obama returned to the White House for a second four-year term. A paltry 9 per cent would prefer to see Republican challenger Mitt Romney take power. What accounts for this chasm? Particularly given that the race is so tight in the US?
In Europe:
But a BBC World Service poll taken just a few weeks ago suggests those numbers have barely shifted in the last six months. Support for Obama still hovers around 70 per cent; Romney still can't even crack double digits.
Romney is just too conservative, particularly the version of Romney we saw during the Republican primaries, when he was chasing the Tea Party vote.
There's also the fact that for many, the word Republican still reminds us too much of George W Bush's shambolic presidency, which dragged us into two costly, long-running wars. And sullied too by the Tea Party's "cranks and crazies'
Still cryin' about what the wise Europeans think of us, eh?

If you're so damned worried about this image thingee then why don't you just stop embarrassing yourself with this Liberal self-flagellation tripe?

They needed to be re-washed because a crew of Obama's homeless slackers washed them poorly earlier. They were spotted with caked up crud. Typical lax slacker work ethic. Half-assed job, just like Obama's one-term presidency.
First off Grampy it's not the homeless that wash the dishes, it's volunteer staff. Soup kitchens like any establishment that serves food are subject to strict rules as to hygiene and cleanliness.
That being said, it would appear that there were some dirty dishes left after all at the request of Ryan's staff.
The Vinidicator, in Youngstown, reports that according to Juanita Sherba, the coordinator who gave Ryan permission to come to the soup kitchen, Ryan did wash dirty dishes while he was there. The newspaper reports that Ryan's staff asked volunteers "to leave some pots and pans unwashed so the VP nominee and his family could do something when he arrived."
"We had to save dishes," she said. "We would have gone home by the time he arrived. We didn't need him to do the dishes. It was getting late, and I said that we were closing in five minutes. I waited longer than that, and he finally arrived."
Sherba expressed regret that she had allowed the visit to take place.
"It was the phoniest piece of baloney I've ever been associated with," she said. "In hindsight, I would have never let him in the door."
So Ryan kept these selfless volunteers from going home to their homes and families so he could tout himself as some kind of compassionate individual.
Just because you're homeless doesn't mean you're a slacker nitwit, a large number of homeless are veterans. Most of the homeless are in fact the working poor who go to work every day but don't make enough to afford rent.
You're an ignorant POS Grampy and a complete idiot.

No I don't give a damn about what the Europeans think, but in such a connected world these days it doesn't hurt to have more friends than enemies. With Obama its a united opinion, with Romney its a whole lot different. In otherwords some of you right wing over the top policies is no different than the world view of Iran and its quest for nukes against the opinion of everyone around them.

Maybe that 2 billion dollar line of credit Obama gave to the national oil company of Brasil, Petrobras, so they can buy up oil reserves in the Gulf of Mexico can be transferred to the Federal Flood Insurance Program.
Petrobras is one of the most successful and largest oil companies in the world. They don't need the 2 billion dollars Obama gave them.
That would give the Federal Flood Insurance Program 5 billion dollars.
What is Obama waiting for?
Can't let a good lie go to waste can you DB? It wasn't Obama who approved the loan but the Export Import Bank whose directors were appointed by George W Bush. The purpose of the loan was so that Petrobras would purchase US made equipment and services.
You're an idiot DB.

You state: "Soup kitchens like any establishment that serves food are subject to strict rules as to hygiene and cleanliness." So you admit that most of their clients (homeless slobs)are too filthy and decrepit to share in the volunteer duties.

CT's homeless are mostly filthy diseased drunks, perverts, and drug addled petty thieves. The drunks spend their days outside of liquor stores begging for money. The perverts spend their days surfing porn sites on public library computers. The druggies spend their days breaking into cars stealing GPS units, laptops, cell phones, and anything else they can fence to feed their habits.

Obama plays a cruel joke on CT's dylexic stuttering fool of a Governor.

Yesterday CT's Governor, Dumb Danny Malloy, spoke by phone with President Obama and told him CT needed a big wall to keep the waters of Long Island Sound from destroying waterfront property.

So today Obama is granting Malloy's request for a big dike. He's sending Janet Napolitano to CT.

your beloved bureaucratic regulations stifle volunteer programs....next you will want government to inspect our home kitchens to protect our children....
