Don doesn't have $5 million.
And who holds a charity hostage? That's just not right.
"holds a charity hostage"....really. Does that mean all those game shows that have celebraties on there playing to win money for a charity of their choice holding hostage the charities of the celebraties that don't win? Seems to me Trump is giving Obama a great and what should be an easy way to make a bundle for a lucky charity or even the chance to help several at once. Just makes no sense not to take him up on it. Maybe Obama could donate it to the charity that helps returning soldiers. That would really show his patriotism and show his support for the military!
Trump is not holding any charity hostage...like Romney, Trump gives far more to charity then the president and vice president, the former speaker of the house, etc.....combined!!!!

Obama declares northeast a disaster area 48 hours before the storm hits, releasing FEMA assets to the state and local governments.

Ok, Democrats, here's your chance to say something you mindlessly repeated throughout Obama's tenure in the empty chair:

Everybody. All together now.

BUSH DID IT, TOO.

But, there's a difference today. When Bush declared the Gulf Coast a disaster 48 hours before Katrina hit and released all of FEMA's assets to state and local governments, it wasn't forseen that the Democrat-controlled governments in the immediate area would collapse.
Twenty four hours before the storm hit, Democrat Mayor (Chocolate City) Nagin hauled ass with everyone in the city government and the Democrat-controlled city government of New Orleans collapsed, leaving the entire population of the city without leadership.
When the storm hit, Democrat Governor (first state function as governor was to visit goddam Castro) Landry became hopelessly disorganized and the Democrat-controlled state government collapsed.
When FEMA had to coordinate with the state and local governments, there just wasn't one to coordinate with. This situation continued for more than a week after Katrina hit.
Bush was in a position where, to help the people in the disaster zones, he would have had to usurp the state and local governments. The Constitution expressly forbids this.

Fortunately, there is a Republican governor in New Jersey where the hurricane is projected to make landfall.

Republicans save us again....

The elimination of the death penalty is pro-life.
As Governor, Mitt Romney has proposed more restrictions on hand-guns than Obama has as President.
Facts matter.
Yes, facts matter.

Ask Chicago and D.C. how "pro-life" their strict gun laws are.

A ban on drinks of any kind is a loss of liberty. Want to ban a drink that's pro-life, ban alcohol.

Affordable health care is anything but, and according to the CBO, will STILL leave 30 million uninsured.

Newspapers don't like the Kenyan either...

MICHAEL BARONE: A Newspaper Endorsement That May Matter.“The Des Moines Register has endorsed Mitt Romney. The Register is not quite the statewide paper that it once was, but it is still clearly the most prominent paper in a state that is closely divided and has 6 critical electoral votes. The endorsement editorial is very much worth reading, because it tends to appeal to the high-minded affluent voters that can be found in large numbers on the west side of Des Moines and in its west side suburbs in Polk County and fast-growing Dallas County to the west.(Iowa was admitted to the Union in 1846.”

Also, it seems like quite a few papers that endorsed Obama in 2008 — like the Register — are endorsing Romney this time around. Seems like there’s a lot less hope-n-change enthusiasm.

Roger and us: how Ailes' Fox talk revolutionized the American right

Ailes, alone among news professionals, has understood the most important truth about modern news: nobody's interested in politics, not in real politics anyway. It's a buzz kill. Both Romney and Obama: buzz kills. Nonentities. But if you repopulate the political world with extremists, eccentrics, loudmouths and well-scripted voices, you have a show.

That's what we have four more years of with Ailes firmly in place: parallel realities, with Fox having long since overshadowed, or even mostly replaced, actual political reality.
