What you are not grasping is that after the evacuations, there were no Americans there to report back to the State Department, all the information was coming from friendly Libyans and the media.

Stevens died of smoke inhalation, the videos were of friendly Libyans rushing his body to a vehicle and then a hospital__did you find that stomach turning?
