Barack Obama, our next President

Blaming Obama for the mess we are in is utterly stupid, and confirms that the general public is made up of people that can't think on their own.
People argue over how good, or bad they think Obama is based on election commercials, and what their friends tell them about him......ya gotta love it.
Things will never change, no matter WHO is the president.
check the numbers on that one buddy...republicans NEVER support democrats, democrats have been, frustratingly willing to compromise

That would be "bear" not "bare" repeating, and it doesn't...what might be noteworthy in an eighteen-year-old study would be the number of false accusers, not the commonality of their motives.

<quoted text>Dear DicklessWonder,
Take it up with Carol, she agrees that "some girls rape so easy?"
I sure hate having to go back to prove what someone else said. But I did and this was the quote in that post of yours:

"Because all of a sudden a young lady gets pregnant and the parents are madder than a wet hen and she's not going to say,‘Oh, yeah, I was part of the program.' All that she has to say or the parents have to say is it was rape because she's underage. And he just said,`Remember, Roger, if you go down that road, some girls,' he said,‘they rape so easy.'"

Hours later, Rivard’s camp issued a clarification to the clarification, calling rape a “horrible act of violence.”

Now Homer...you know what he meant and I know what he meant. He could have chosen his words a little better but he clearly put into context what he meant.

And this is all I'm going to say about it.

But I sure do miss the days when you used to make me laugh a lot.

The Black Is Back Coalition was born in October, 2009, when Black activists came together “to make some noise and formulate some plans – rather than passively accept the corporate policies of the icon in the White House.” The Coalition has been hard at work on worldwide Black liberation ever since, and will “Break the Silence” once again, with a rally and conference in the nation’s capital.“Breaking the silence means pollinating our communities with the direction and skills necessary to break the back of those who oppress and kill us.”

When the Black Is Back Coalition for Social Justice, Peace and Reparations first came together in October of 2009, millions of African Americans were still flush with the glow of Barack Obama’s inauguration, nine months before, when a million African Americans gathered at the Washington Mall like faithful Muslims on a pilgrimage to Mecca. But by October of his first year in office, President Obama had already announced that he would be putting Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid on the chopping block; he had already sabotaged Durban II, the international conference against racism, just as George Bush had sabotaged Durban I, eight years before; and Obama had already announced that he would not be proposing any programs to alleviate extreme Black suffering in the worst economic meltdown since the Great Depression – even as his friends on Wall Street were already moving towards a taxpayer-funded recovery. Clearly, it was time for Black activists to get active again – to make some noise and formulate some plans - rather than passively accept the corporate policies of the icon in the White House.

two different things there Dave. The police gather evidence, make arrests and hold the suspects for trial. They do not prevent most crime. That is one of the reasons we have the second amendment. Ask any policeperson. They will tell you.

I have a sister who was violently raped by a stranger when she was 13 and a good friend who was raped continuously by her cousin when she was 10 (her parents didn't believe her).
Thankfully my sister was given a morning after pill, but the mental scars that were left will last a lifetime. As for my friend, she is in her 40's now and still will not lock the bathroom door because that is what her cousin would do.
I find your comments highly offensive.
MY comments???

These comments were written by a Boston criminal lawyer on the website I posted.

And he cited two separate studies conducted on the subject: The Journal Archives of Sexual Behavior,(Vol. 23, No. 1, 1994) and the Journal Forensic Science Digest,(Vol. 11. No. 4, December 1985).

It's just you liberals get so tripped up with context - and reality.

No one EVER said rape was ANYTHING but a violent act.

But false accusations DO happen. I hate having to be the one to break it to you.

Obama DID carry his teleprompter everywhere after he was elected and it caused him some embarrassments a few times reading it word for word.

And Obama DID turn over the scripting of Obamacare to Pelosi and Reid.

What in the world are you talking about?

Give it a rest, Homer. It was clear what he meant in his rather detailed explanation of what he meant.

Now that's really all I'm going to say about it.

Equal pay for equal work is not that difficult to understand is it?
A woman who is a nurse is going to make less than a male who is a computer programmer.

It's not that, cough, hard to understand.

Obama made a huge mistake by not clarifying this. Fortunately, enough lawyers did. Look it up if you even care enough about the truth.

Maybe Leo remembers the 'procedure' she claims healed brain damage.
I was too busy laughing.
In the early 1900s, the research of Dr. William Sutherland, an American osteopathic physician, detailed the movement of the cranium and pelvis. Before his research it was believed that the cranium was a solid immovable mass. Sutherland reported that the skull is actually made up of 22 separate and movable bones that are connected by layers of tissue. He called his work cranial osteopathy . Nephi Cotton, an American chiropractor and contemporary of Sutherland, called this approach craniology. The graduates of these two disciplines have refined and enhanced these original approaches and renamed their work as sacro-occipital technique, cranial movement therapy , or craniosacral therapy.
http://www.encyclopedia.com/topic/Craniosacra...

You can laugh all you want. But as an American I have the freedom to do choose what I want to do. It worked for me. After a severe concussion my speech was like a person who has had a stroke. My short term and long term memory was gone. I could not type or communicate properly.
The 'specialists' in Chicago-the top doctors (two of them world famous) at the top of Neurological science, all wanted to do was drug me and insisted everyone who has a concussion is depressed. Now what sense does that make? drug a person that can't spell their own name? and send them home.
