Jobless Claims Unexpectedly Rise To 388,000

Unexpectedly? Who the hell didn't expect the number to go back up where they should be? Heck last weeks numbers were revised up 370,000 before today because California under reported their numbers. I think we need some new experts. They are never right.

Conservative groups train their cadres in Dallas, where it's one part Hayek, one part Alinsky, and one part Henry Ford.
“We’re out-Saul Alinskying the left,” Matt Kibbe, the group’s director in a radio interview in Dallas the day of FreePAC. Steinhauser also quoted Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals in his speech:“The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself."

Movement Conservatives Not Letting Crisis Go to Waste

Here’s what’s happening: After the crash in 2008, the conservative Republican mainstream found itself in a quandary. The crisis was so acute, so cymbal-crashingly, existentially serious, that it required some sort of ideological accounting. It happened on our watch. What, if anything, did we do wrong? Human nature being what it is, the movement sought to deflect as much blame as possible. The Fed was fingered (rightly) for keeping interest rates too low, for too long. Less persuasively, it was pointed out that Democrats had been in charge of Congress since January 2007. Less persuasive still were the desperate attempts to pin the crash on Andrew Cuomo’s HUD and the Community Reinvestment Act: The subprime mortgage crisis, in this telling, was the result of fool-headed generosity toward minorities. There’s a kernel of truth to this, but it doesn’t explain, first, why private-sector lenders were so keen on subprime mortgages (they offered easy profits and could be kicked upstairs via securitization) and, second, how an American housing crisis became a worldwide financial contagion.

After they wiped their hands of the crisis until they could wipe no more, movement conservatives did fess up to one thing: expanding entitlements and generally spending too much.

This was nice. I can see why it was attractive narrative to people like Yuval Levin, who had a role in shaping Bush administration domestic policy.

My answer is....I'm not right wing crazy. I need much more than 'I suspect'.
If you don't know anything, you don't have enough information to even participate in the conversation. Right?
So, you should keep your lack of thoughts to yourself and not expose yourself to the audience as an ignorant buffoon.
There are many statements in the post describing the requirement of very sophisticated training and intelligence.
Here's the post again for your reference. If you're too ignorant to even participate in the discussion, please leave the discussion to the adults.

Obama is completely out of touch. He's not in charge of anything. He says only what he's ordered to say. Everything is scripted for him. That's the legacy he'll leave. We have never had a president that was so inconsequential.
I smell Vallerie Jarrett. She decided we didn't want to offend the terrorists we knew were organizing in Libya, so she ordered the ambassador to be with very low security.
Now, let's get to the real issue:
It's obvious Al Qaeda trained their assault team very thuroughly in some mock-up facility of the exact location of the attack. All you have to do is observe the precision of their movements through the facility to deduce this. This was a very precisely planned attack requiring coordination of movement during action through multiple locations.
This requires precise timing. The timing is based on the location of the American ambassador. The assault team has to be assembled. They're not just hanging around at the assault point fully armed for weeks waiting for the ambassador to arrive. They know they will get a signal from somewhere that starts their attack. Their attack starts with the notification of everyone in the assault team, everyone involved in the placement of the heavy weapons, the diversionary fire team, and everyone involved in the communication between the different elements of the attack.
They have to know exactly when the ambassador will be at the consulate.
If they did not have information directly from the US government, and I suspect Vallerie Jarrett, then it would have been impossible for them to execute this type of assault. Without someone in either the State Department or the White House giving to Al Qaeda real-time location information of the American ambassador, they would have attempted to kill him at the usual location, the embassy in Tripoli.
This is too much like the very next "secret" mission of SEAL Team Six when their helicopter descended to disembark the SEAL team at the "secret" location right into the sights of a lone Taliban waiting for them with a rocket launcher.

Residents would include aliens - both legal & illegal.

Many women who are raped fail to report it for many reasons; fear, not wanting to go through the process of a trial, not knowing who raped her etc.
Romney Ryan have said they support abortion in the case of rape, what happens if the woman doesn't report the rape and discovers she is pregnant? What she does report it and the rapist is found not guilty?

How can any woman or man who cares about women vote for these men who want to send women back to the 1950's?

If mitt gets elected, he will appoint two justices to the Supreme Court, this means say goodbye to women's rights that were fought for for 50 years.

Romney applied Affirmative Action? He denied qualified men jobs & replaced them with women who must not have been as qualified else they would have been considered in the first place.

You're getting way ahead of the class. You have inadvertently led the discussion to what is known as "Special Purpose Vehicles."
A "Special Purpose Vehicle" is an offshore company created by the owner of worthless mortgages created by the Democrats' lunatic subprime loan program. The mother company "sells" the worthless mortgages created by the Democrats' idiotic subprime loan program individually, bundles in what is called "traunches." The "Special Purpose Vehicle" sells the traunch back to the mother company as a single unit. This removes the individual "toxic assets" created by the Democrats' subprime loan program form the books of the mother company, and replaces them with the "traunch" that cannot be investigated because the "Special Purpose Vehicle" isn't a company in the United States. It is in a foreign country.
Then, because the "traunch" is a real estate traunch, and it is widely known that Americans pay their mortgages, the "traunch" is given a AAA rating.
There is quite a bit of fraud and deceit involved in getting the AAA rating applied.
Ben Bernanke was testifying before Barney Frank's committee and utterred the words "Special Purpose Vehicle." Immediately after he uttered those words, all questioning of him immediately ceased. Bernanke mentioning "Special Purpose Vehicle" in front of Barney Frank's committee was enough to shut every goddam Democrat mouth in DC. Later, Bernanke received unanimous support from the Democrats to continue as head of the Fed.

One would suspect a connection there.....

There are so many stupid statements in this post. Actually the entire post.
1)The stock market answers to share holders-those that are doing well are investing in the Bric countries. They are running lean and watching the bottom line. Many have moved jobs out of the United States because of the upcoming O'bama care. Here are two examples in O'bama's home, democrat, ruled state. Abbot Laboratories will be laying off over 2000 by 2013. Kraft foods is also slated to lay off and has split their company into two divisions. One international and one here-thus preparing for the fall-out if O'bama is re-elected.
2) Those that don't educate themselves? what is education to you? 100,000 dollar college degree? What is a good job to you? Got some numbers. Some people think having a job at all is a good job. 23 million people in this country would consider a job a good job.
3) Farming property is the only property that was not hit by the housing crisis.. Land prices have risen sharply in response to recent high farm profits. Farm land prices in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin have risen by better than 50 percent from 2006 to 2010. They are on track to notch up another strong gain in 2011. As of the third quarter this year, land prices were up 25 percent from just one year ago. The mass amounts of farm subsidies are for corn, but I am sure you know that-Ethanol.

Hey Putz-

Supply and demand--SAVE America from choking people at the gas pumps (cause hybrids DON'T matter on the price per gallon--OVER priced due to under economic activity is still the same--TOO MUCH per gallon!!)

With limited access to deep water ports, Canadian oil producers have been shipping crude to American refiners, where oil stocks are already ample. Relatively tight supplies outside the U.S., meanwhile, have pushed international crude prices higher.

The solution, for Canadian producers, is a pipeline that would cross the U.S. and provide access to ports in the Gulf of Mexico, where it could be shipped to buyers around the world. That would reduce the glut of oil that has depressed U.S. prices, forcing up the cost to U.S. refiners.

KEYSTONE FOR American economic recovery-NOT Against it! Move that commodity again!!!
