2 great posts:

* At Tuesday’s debate, President Obama pulled off the magical feat of making his credibility completely disappear. Does he imagine the American public is so stupid that we will simply forget his many assertions that the attack in Benghazi was a response to a film and not a carefully planned and executed attack by terrorists?
(guess this poster never read the O'bot posts on here)

* The President said gas cost less in 2008 because of the recession. Let’s have a permanent recession, since it will put more money in our pockets.

I am reminded of one of Saul Alinsky's rules:
Saul Alinsky rule number 5. "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage."
Here is my reaction "to your advantage."
You forgot to answer the post. There are many statements in the post. Pick any out and tell us why you disagree.
I'll help you. Here's the post again:
Nobody believes that. Obama is completely out of touch. He's not in charge of anything. He says only what he's ordered to say. Everything is scripted for him. That's the legacy he'll leave. We have never had a president that was so inconsequential.
I smell Vallerie Jarrett. She decided we didn't want to offend the terrorists we knew were organizing in Libya, so she ordered the ambassador to be with very low security.
Now, let's get to the real issue:
It's obvious Al Qaeda trained their assault team very thuroughly in some mock-up facility of the exact location of the attack. All you have to do is observe the precision of their movements through the facility to deduce this. This was a very precisely planned attack requiring coordination of movement during action through multiple locations.
This requires precise timing. The timing is based on the location of the American ambassador. The assault team has to be assembled. They're not just hanging around at the assault point fully armed for weeks waiting for the ambassador to arrive. They know they will get a signal from somewhere that starts their attack. Their attack starts with the notification of everyone in the assault team, everyone involved in the placement of the heavy weapons, the diversionary fire team, and everyone involved in the communication between the different elements of the attack.
They have to know exactly when the ambassador will be at the consulate.
If they did not have information directly from the US government, and I suspect Vallerie Jarrett, then it would have been impossible for them to execute this type of assault. Without someone in either the State Department or the White House giving to Al Qaeda real-time location information of the American ambassador, they would have attempted to kill him at the usual location, the embassy in Tripoli.
This is too much like the very next "secret" mission of SEAL Team Six when their helicopter descended to disembark the SEAL team at the "secret" location right into the sights of a lone Taliban waiting for them with a rocket launcher.
... and your answer is ????
My answer is....I'm not right wing crazy. I need much more than 'I suspect'.

Romney is so f*cking stupid, he does not know what a sudden drop in demand does to prices.
Please tell us about the cost trend leading up to the recession caused by the Democrats' lunatic subprime housing mortgage underwriting program.
Then, kindly explain to us how stagnant economic growth creates sufficient increase in demand to double the cost.

You may add to your explanation the effect of Quantitative Easing, or simply put counterfeiting US currency, causing the US dollar to be devalued, thus the number of dollars required to purchase any product of unchanging value will increase.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Thanks for clearing that up for us.
Poor people don't lend money. Wall St. millionaires took the bad loans the bank millionaires made and sold it to the world. That's what caused the housing collapse. Millionaires and billionaires.
Same thing with ALL the jobs shipped to China. The workers didn't ship them. It was people like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. Two of the richest people EVER in America. The rich are killing America but you Repubs defend them each and everyday.

Inside The Tea Party Factory

Conservative groups train their cadres in Dallas, where it's one part Hayek, one part Alinsky, and one part Henry Ford.

“We’re out-Saul Alinskying the left,” Matt Kibbe, the group’s director in a radio interview in Dallas the day of FreePAC. Steinhauser also quoted Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals in his speech:“The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself."

"Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people-their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights and their civil liberties-someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal", then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal.”

Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear.” Never let a Republican stop you from voting.... carry your gun in November....

I guess binders are not as big of a deal as many make them out to be. Over half of Rommney's top administrators in state government were women. Beats the hell of the White House numbers doesn't it?

Please note dates on some (not all) of these articles were prior to debates (meaning not driven by the debate like some current articles have been).

Unexpectedly? Who the hell didn't expect the number to go back up where they should be? Heck last weeks numbers were revised up 370,000 before today because California under reported their numbers. I think we need some new experts. They are never right.

Movement Conservatives Not Letting Crisis Go to Waste

Here’s what’s happening: After the crash in 2008, the conservative Republican mainstream found itself in a quandary. The crisis was so acute, so cymbal-crashingly, existentially serious, that it required some sort of ideological accounting. It happened on our watch. What, if anything, did we do wrong? Human nature being what it is, the movement sought to deflect as much blame as possible. The Fed was fingered (rightly) for keeping interest rates too low, for too long. Less persuasively, it was pointed out that Democrats had been in charge of Congress since January 2007. Less persuasive still were the desperate attempts to pin the crash on Andrew Cuomo’s HUD and the Community Reinvestment Act: The subprime mortgage crisis, in this telling, was the result of fool-headed generosity toward minorities. There’s a kernel of truth to this, but it doesn’t explain, first, why private-sector lenders were so keen on subprime mortgages (they offered easy profits and could be kicked upstairs via securitization) and, second, how an American housing crisis became a worldwide financial contagion.

After they wiped their hands of the crisis until they could wipe no more, movement conservatives did fess up to one thing: expanding entitlements and generally spending too much.

This was nice. I can see why it was attractive narrative to people like Yuval Levin, who had a role in shaping Bush administration domestic policy.
