Scientists? How about climatologists.

Did you read the list of these people.

So they found 31,000 right wingers who somewhere took a science course. There were only 9,000 PhD earners. Over the past 15 years.

Faking military service, as you've done here, is shameful.
Actually, you are correct. They were the last ground combat unit to leave Vietnam.
Now, pay attention here....
They were not involved in any ground combat action during the Easter Offensive of 1972.
And, they were the only ones there. All other US ground combat units had been removed from Vietnam in 1971.

If you disagree, identify the battles the US ground combat units engaged the communists in 1972, and tell us what the casualties were.

... and that's why he asked the Soviet Union to petition the UN to separate Vietnam into two separate countries. Haw haw haw.
The French would not endorse him as the supreme leader of Vietnam. Thus, he started a war with the French after he went to Paris and asked them to return to Vietnam, and asked the Soveit Union to help. The Soviet Union saw an opportunity to expand their influence during the Cold War. When Ho Chi Minh asked the Soviet Union to help him in the war he started against the French after he asked the French to come back to Vietnam, he condemned Vietnam to being a candidate location for the proxy wars that became the favorite Soviet Union strategy during the Cold War. Vietnam was just one of several proxy wars during the Cold War the Soveit Union started.
Had the French endorsed Ho Chi Minh as supreme leader of Vietnam, he would have loved the French. However, it was the French that started the elections in Vietnam. There hasn't been an election in Vietnam since Ho Chi Minh took control. There has never been an election for any office in Vietnam in any territory controlled by Ho Chi Minh.... ever.
How could the United States have avoided involvement in Vietnam?
If the strategy of the United States would have been to run away from anywhere the communists appeared, then we could have avoided being involved in Vietnam. Our strategy during the Cold War was not to run away.
"When the US declared him an enemy, he went to the only other source for help, the Communists."
You really are ignorant here.
Ho Chi Minh didn't become significant to the United States until he invited the Soviet Union to join him and help conquer Vietnam. As the Soviet Union's involvement increased, so did our involvement.
By the way, the communists used Soviet weapons at the battle of Dien Bien Phu, idiot. And that was before the Soviet Union petitioned the UN to divide Vietnam into a communist North and a democratic South. The US involvement wasn't significant until after North and South Vietnam were created, and the Soviet Union was massively supporting communist invasions of South Vietnam.
So, now, we have the parallel to the previous proxy war the Soviet Union started: Korea. The Korean War began exactly in the same way as Vietnam. The Soviet Union petitioned the UN to divide the country, the UN accepted the proposal, and the communists immediately invaded the other country.
You've been indoctrinated with the lies the Democrats invented about Vietnam to cover up the fact that they joined the enemy during the Cold War and sabotaged the United States.
Yup. We still call that treason.
The OSS approached Mihn to help them in the fight against the Japanese. To help provide intel.

New Threats to Riot if Obama Loses Election

Buzz explodes across web

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
October 15, 2012

Despite the issue receiving national media attention, Obama supporters continue to threaten to riot if Mitt Romney wins the presidential election, raising the prospect of civil unrest if Obama fails to secure a second term.

The new threats continue to dominate Twitter and the vast majority make no reference to the media’s coverage of the issue over the last week, illustrating the fact that they are a legitimate expression of how many Obama voters plan to respond if Romney comes out on top.

Well poor ole Mitt cancelled his appearance on the View because it seems he found out he wasn't as appealing to women voters as he thought. So all that is left for him now is the likes of Carol who would still find him appealing dressed in a Gorilla suit which is where his mindset is half the time!

Somebody in the US government was helping Al Qaeda. Who was it?
Was it the State Department? Or, was it the White House?
In case you haven't been keeping up with current events, the White House just threw the State Department under the bus, and blamed them for the obvious lies that were coming out of Obama's mouth, and every mouth associated with Obama.
.... that's getting interesting. Live video of the attack being watched, and Obama spewing obvious lies about it for 2 weeks after.
hmmmmmmmmmm........
Did Obama miss the morning briefings for 2 weeks?
