Well I did research how many jobs would be created by the Keystone XL and according to the Cornell University Global Labor Institute more jobs would be lost than gained.
The pipeline itself wasn't the issue, it was the proposed route that would transect the Ogallala Aquifer that provides water for millions of residents in five states. Even the Republican governor of Nebraska was opposed to it. What nitwits like you seem to ignore is that oil from tar sands costs more to extract and refine and would in fact cause oil prices to go up.
You're an idiot.
It would've interferred with WIND MILL funding.
You can LIE to some of the people ALL of time Dupont--but you cannot LIE to ALL of the people some of the time!!!
TWO THOUSAND Jobs-LOST in the past two years here.
Who the hell would rely on coal in Massachusetts? NUCLEAR country up THAT way. Any IDIOT realizes that.
TWO THOUSAND (Plus) UNEMPLOYED people-from the LARGEST PAYROLL sectors of this region.
(and believe it or not-we had some IGNORANT enough to chastise local gvrnmt for STANDING up FOR the people and demanding the UI banks be replinished-KNOWING there just might be a need for it!! DemoCrapTIC IGNORANCE!)
While windmills in the west might be dandy-windmills for the REST is just IGNORANT!!!
HELL NO-O gotta go!
EXPERIENC for ALL of America-NOT just some!
