I am saying that the vast majority of climatologists agree that global warming is real, caused by man, and will cause changes in our climate that will likely cause severe problems in our future.<quoted text>Sometimes a patent clerk from Bern writes a paper that overturns hundreds of years of thinking in an instant. To you the science is settled because a certain percentage of reputable or as you say 'climatologists' scientists say the science is settled. Whatever ones position on global warming, this is exactly the sort of terrible argumentation that gets a cheap applause line, but prevents thoughtful analysis.
We need to act now.
If these people are right, we could prevent these problems.
If they are wrong, we will have a cleaner atmosphere.
If you are wrong, our grandchildren will suffer.
So your solution is to put future generations at risk to save what?
