You people are just something, what that something is is certainly not informed.
Yes I understand that Clinton did nothing while the mass gassing of Iraqi's was going on-- not even condemning Sadaam. He was willing to sit by and allow the killings of millions in more than one area-So was the horrible United Nations-another piece of crap that should not be on government soil. However, we all know that Hussein was torturing and imprisoning and yes killing his own people in 2002-mostly so he could have a 'fair' election.

And then we have this loon-o talking about Libya-er eh I mean Iraq.

<quoted text>"Here's what happened with Stericycle. In November 1999, Bain Capital and Madison Dearborn Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, filed with the SEC a Schedule 13D, which lists owners of publicly traded companies, noting that they had jointly purchased $75 million worth of shares in Stericycle, a fast-growing player in the medical-waste industry.(That April, Stericycle had announced plans to buy the medical-waste businesses of Browning Ferris Industries and Allied Waste Industries.) The SEC filing lists assorted Bain-related entities that were part of the deal, including Bain Capital (BCI), Bain Capital Partners VI (BCP VI), Sankaty High Yield Asset Investors (a Bermuda-based Bain affiliate), and Brookside Capital Investors (a Bain offshoot). And it notes that Romney was the "sole shareholder, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of BCI, BCP VI Inc., Brookside Inc. and Sankaty Ltd."
The document also states that Romney "may be deemed to share voting and dispositive power with respect to" 2,116,588 shares of common stock in Stericycle "in his capacity as sole shareholder" of the Bain entities that invested in the company. That was about 11 percent of the outstanding shares."
I keep trying although I've leaned by now you cannot read--we all have our crosses to bear, I guess.
Madison Dearborn Partners???? really. From March 31, 2007 to March 31, 2008, First Wind had revenue of $12 million and net losses of $73 million. Those losses forced First Wind to take out loans in the amount of $191 million. And up until October, the New York attorney general's office was investigating First Wind for its possible participation in bribery of public officials for land use purposes.

Broke and under investigation. Not exactly a great candidate for stimulus. But that didn't stop the Obama administration. Why? Because First Wind is supported principally by Madison Dearborn Partners and the D.E. Shaw Group.

Madison Dearborn Partners, not coincidentally, is Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel's "best source of funds," according to the Washington Examiner. During his congressional career, employees of Madison Dearborn gave Emanuel $93,600. And Emanuel is instrumental in oversight of the stimulus.

Fantasy.
Ho Che Mihn fought against the Japanese in WWII in Vietnsam.
He wanted a unified, independent Vietnam.
When the US declared him an enemy, he went to the only other source for help, the Communists.
Wow, you really aren't very well informed.
"He wanted a unified, independent Vietnam."
... and that's why he asked the Soviet Union to petition the UN to separate Vietnam into two separate countries. Haw haw haw.

The French would not endorse him as the supreme leader of Vietnam. Thus, he started a war with the French after he went to Paris and asked them to return to Vietnam, and asked the Soveit Union to help. The Soviet Union saw an opportunity to expand their influence during the Cold War. When Ho Chi Minh asked the Soviet Union to help him in the war he started against the French after he asked the French to come back to Vietnam, he condemned Vietnam to being a candidate location for the proxy wars that became the favorite Soviet Union strategy during the Cold War. Vietnam was just one of several proxy wars during the Cold War the Soveit Union started.
Had the French endorsed Ho Chi Minh as supreme leader of Vietnam, he would have loved the French. However, it was the French that started the elections in Vietnam. There hasn't been an election in Vietnam since Ho Chi Minh took control. There has never been an election for any office in Vietnam in any territory controlled by Ho Chi Minh.... ever.

How could the United States have avoided involvement in Vietnam?
If the strategy of the United States would have been to run away from anywhere the communists appeared, then we could have avoided being involved in Vietnam. Our strategy during the Cold War was not to run away.

"When the US declared him an enemy, he went to the only other source for help, the Communists."

You really are ignorant here.

Ho Chi Minh didn't become significant to the United States until he invited the Soviet Union to join him and help conquer Vietnam. As the Soviet Union's involvement increased, so did our involvement.
By the way, the communists used Soviet weapons at the battle of Dien Bien Phu, idiot. And that was before the Soviet Union petitioned the UN to divide Vietnam into a communist North and a democratic South. The US involvement wasn't significant until after North and South Vietnam were created, and the Soviet Union was massively supporting communist invasions of South Vietnam.
So, now, we have the parallel to the previous proxy war the Soviet Union started: Korea. The Korean War began exactly in the same way as Vietnam. The Soviet Union petitioned the UN to divide the country, the UN accepted the proposal, and the communists immediately invaded the other country.

You've been indoctrinated with the lies the Democrats invented about Vietnam to cover up the fact that they joined the enemy during the Cold War and sabotaged the United States.
Yup. We still call that treason.

Could somebody remind dumbazz, denthead Kvetch that Clinton wasn't president in 1988. "he Halabja poison gas attack (Kurdish: کی&#16 05;یا& #1576;ار ان&#17 40; ھە&#17 17;ەب& #1580;ە Kîmyabarana Helebce), also known as Halabja massacre or Bloody Friday,[1] was a genocidal massacre against the Kurdish people that took place on March 16, 1988, during the closing days of the Iran–Iraq War, when chemical weapons were used by the Iraqi government forces in the Kurdish town of Halabja in Iraqi Kurdistan."

I would, but I'm not responding to the insane on here any more.

I received the Mitt Romney Medicare & SS mailer today.
Wow. is Romney a lying POS or what.
1) First he claims that Obama is forcing doctors to cut back on Medicare patients. This is a lie
2) Romney said Obama attacked every serious proposal that protected social security & Medicare. I guess Mitt thinks the only proposals ever was his & Ryan's privatization plan.
3) Romney implies that Obama is cutting medicare benefits
4) Romney claims this unelected panel is going to cut future benefits. A lie.
Now Romney says his plan has no changes for those near retirement. Well maybe. Under Romney's voucher program, the healthier younger seniors will buy policies & the older sicker seniors won't be able to & stay on the government plan. As more money is diverted from the system to private companies, the government system would be saddled with fewer payees & higher costing participants driving costs up & revenues down. Either rates would need to go up or benefits cut.
So don't believe Mitt's big lie. If you are 55 or older, Romney's plan can destroy your medicare.
Mitt claims his plan empowers seniors to choose their own doctors & care.....that's the way it is now & doesn't change with Obama.
Mitt Romney will change Medicare.
Where is Romney's guarantee that his vouchers will be enough to buy any policy.
All Romney & Ryan want is to take the money we all pay into Medicare & funnel it to their corporate buddies in the insurance industry.
Medicare is a great system. It is run very efficiently.
Obama has saved 716 billion in lowering future increases.
Obama has added benefits while cutting none.
If you are 55 & older, Romney will destroy your medicare as his proposals put them at financial risk.
Want proof that Romney Ryan will funnel money to the insurance companies?
http://www.opensecrets.org/industries/indus.p...
Romney insurance donations are 230% higher than Obama's.
"So don't believe Mitt's big lie. If you are 55 or older, Romney's plan can destroy your medicare.
