When he was running for President, Obama condemned Bush for adding $4 trillion to the national debt over eight years, calling it “irresponsible” and “unpatriotic.”
Now, in less than four years, Obama’s Administration has already added almost $6 trillion to the debt.
$16 trillion and counting...
Did you happen to notice the financial collapse and complete global meltdown that happened in the interim? Just wondering.

So Saddam's regime and the weapons were gone under Clinton? he got rid of them? who leo? Who did Clinton get rid of in Iraq? Funny isn't it?

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
-- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
-- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
-- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

Evidentally the democrats didn't think Clinton got rid of Saddam or any weapons either. Matter of fact they were positive.

This would be that last paragraph:
"And, we talk about how the Democrat-controlled congress of 1973 stabbed South Vietnam in the back, and how the communists invaded and took control of a disarmed and defenseless South Vietnam in 1975. "
It was the Democrat-controlled congress of 1973 that cut off all funding and support for the government and country of South Vietnam. In addition, they passed the Case-Church Amendment which prevented any transfer of arms/munitions and supplies from US assets to South Vietnam.
As a result, South Vietnam was not able to replenish what it cost them to defeat the single largest communist invasion of the war in 1972 without assistance from US ground combat units which had been removed from Veitnam in 1971 as part of Nixon's "Vietnamization" Program.
Thus, after further draining the unreplenishable resources of South Vietnam during 1974, in 1975 the communists invaded a disarmed and defenseless South Vietnam.
In the following 2 years over 12 percent of the population under the control of Ho Chi Minh (outside of North Vietnam) were murdered.
To put that into perspective, during 10 years of high intensity warfare, there were 2.8 million Vietnamese killed cumulatively for both sides. 3.2 million people were murdered under Ho Chi Minh without any goddam war.
And, that's what the Democrats, and in particular John Kerry, joined.
Yeah, and the second to the last paragraph is also bullshyte__the last ground combat troops left Vietnam, in August 1972, August is well after Easter correct? But some combat elements of the First Cav were present until later in the year.

Pay attention now fkstick__I'm officially over your lying azz!

You people are just something, what that something is is certainly not informed.
Yes I understand that Clinton did nothing while the mass gassing of Iraqi's was going on-- not even condemning Sadaam. He was willing to sit by and allow the killings of millions in more than one area-So was the horrible United Nations-another piece of crap that should not be on government soil. However, we all know that Hussein was torturing and imprisoning and yes killing his own people in 2002-mostly so he could have a 'fair' election.

And then we have this loon-o talking about Libya-er eh I mean Iraq.

<quoted text>"Here's what happened with Stericycle. In November 1999, Bain Capital and Madison Dearborn Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, filed with the SEC a Schedule 13D, which lists owners of publicly traded companies, noting that they had jointly purchased $75 million worth of shares in Stericycle, a fast-growing player in the medical-waste industry.(That April, Stericycle had announced plans to buy the medical-waste businesses of Browning Ferris Industries and Allied Waste Industries.) The SEC filing lists assorted Bain-related entities that were part of the deal, including Bain Capital (BCI), Bain Capital Partners VI (BCP VI), Sankaty High Yield Asset Investors (a Bermuda-based Bain affiliate), and Brookside Capital Investors (a Bain offshoot). And it notes that Romney was the "sole shareholder, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of BCI, BCP VI Inc., Brookside Inc. and Sankaty Ltd."
The document also states that Romney "may be deemed to share voting and dispositive power with respect to" 2,116,588 shares of common stock in Stericycle "in his capacity as sole shareholder" of the Bain entities that invested in the company. That was about 11 percent of the outstanding shares."
I keep trying although I've leaned by now you cannot read--we all have our crosses to bear, I guess.
Madison Dearborn Partners???? really. From March 31, 2007 to March 31, 2008, First Wind had revenue of $12 million and net losses of $73 million. Those losses forced First Wind to take out loans in the amount of $191 million. And up until October, the New York attorney general's office was investigating First Wind for its possible participation in bribery of public officials for land use purposes.

Broke and under investigation. Not exactly a great candidate for stimulus. But that didn't stop the Obama administration. Why? Because First Wind is supported principally by Madison Dearborn Partners and the D.E. Shaw Group.

Madison Dearborn Partners, not coincidentally, is Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel's "best source of funds," according to the Washington Examiner. During his congressional career, employees of Madison Dearborn gave Emanuel $93,600. And Emanuel is instrumental in oversight of the stimulus.

Fantasy.
Ho Che Mihn fought against the Japanese in WWII in Vietnsam.
He wanted a unified, independent Vietnam.
When the US declared him an enemy, he went to the only other source for help, the Communists.
Wow, you really aren't very well informed.
"He wanted a unified, independent Vietnam."
... and that's why he asked the Soviet Union to petition the UN to separate Vietnam into two separate countries. Haw haw haw.

The French would not endorse him as the supreme leader of Vietnam. Thus, he started a war with the French after he went to Paris and asked them to return to Vietnam, and asked the Soveit Union to help. The Soviet Union saw an opportunity to expand their influence during the Cold War. When Ho Chi Minh asked the Soviet Union to help him in the war he started against the French after he asked the French to come back to Vietnam, he condemned Vietnam to being a candidate location for the proxy wars that became the favorite Soviet Union strategy during the Cold War. Vietnam was just one of several proxy wars during the Cold War the Soveit Union started.
Had the French endorsed Ho Chi Minh as supreme leader of Vietnam, he would have loved the French. However, it was the French that started the elections in Vietnam. There hasn't been an election in Vietnam since Ho Chi Minh took control. There has never been an election for any office in Vietnam in any territory controlled by Ho Chi Minh.... ever.

How could the United States have avoided involvement in Vietnam?
If the strategy of the United States would have been to run away from anywhere the communists appeared, then we could have avoided being involved in Vietnam. Our strategy during the Cold War was not to run away.

"When the US declared him an enemy, he went to the only other source for help, the Communists."

You really are ignorant here.

Ho Chi Minh didn't become significant to the United States until he invited the Soviet Union to join him and help conquer Vietnam. As the Soviet Union's involvement increased, so did our involvement.
By the way, the communists used Soviet weapons at the battle of Dien Bien Phu, idiot. And that was before the Soviet Union petitioned the UN to divide Vietnam into a communist North and a democratic South. The US involvement wasn't significant until after North and South Vietnam were created, and the Soviet Union was massively supporting communist invasions of South Vietnam.
So, now, we have the parallel to the previous proxy war the Soviet Union started: Korea. The Korean War began exactly in the same way as Vietnam. The Soviet Union petitioned the UN to divide the country, the UN accepted the proposal, and the communists immediately invaded the other country.

You've been indoctrinated with the lies the Democrats invented about Vietnam to cover up the fact that they joined the enemy during the Cold War and sabotaged the United States.
Yup. We still call that treason.
