Interesting.
By Real Dave's logic the 9/11 attacks were due to the fact Bush was president.
Then by the same logic the original attack (truck bomb at world trade center) was the fault of Clinton since he was president when the attack occured on Feb 26, 1993.
Amazing just how stupid hard core left wing and hard core right wing folks are. It does not matter which one they both have blinders on.
They state something as fact but when it is pointed out that that same logic (regardless of how twisted it is) applies to their party or canidate then it is probably no longer valid.
Bottom line is the middle east (most of them) hate us regardless of who is in charge.
Both parties suck and are owned by Wall Street and big money. This election is about selection of the least evil of two bad candidates.
It is sad it has come to this.
I agree. The days of bipartisan governance are long gone.

THE DOCTOR MADE ME DO IT (AND THAT’S OKAY): A woman who had a consensual, extramarital affair with her family doctor–while under treatment for anxiety and depression–sued him for medical malpractice. Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court (rightly, in my opinion) ruled in favor of the doctor, refusing to find that voluntary sexual relations with a patient under mental health treatment is per se negligent.

According to Paul Ryan, we should make no effort to raise revenues or cut spending unless that one action will eliminate the national debt.
Look, the idiot Ryan basically said it is a waste to consider raising the rate on the wealthy because the billions of dollars it would bring in to lower the deficit was not worth it.
So why is killing Big Bird to save 400 million worth it?
Why should people hand more of their money over to the government? The government needs to learn to live within it's means.

Like it mattered who was president...
In Clinton's final year he put together a bipartisan committee to study the US's vulnerability to a terrorist attack.

They were to report to the new President.

They went to see Bush & he refused to meet with them. He ignored the report. He decided to put together his own commission & assigned leadership to Cheney & Bush's campaign manager. They were to meet in late September, of 2001.

That report, if talked seriously, could have made agencies more aware & perhaps those reports of Middle Eastern men taking pilots lessons would have been taken more seriously or that airport in Maine where the main guy came in would have had more security.

But Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooo.

So yes, a different President would have likely paid more attention to that Clinton formed Commission report.

You are referring to the Graham Bailey Leach legislation that the Republicans passed in order to remove the boundaries between banks & & investment houses (repeal Glass Steagall).

Halloween is upon us and the crazy Democrats are doing what they did when Reagan ran for president, saying Romney will start WWIII like the Moonbats said about Reagan.

Instead we had the fall of the U.S.S.R. and Berlin Wall, Eastern Europe was freed, and they love the USA now.

Here is the news about the Democrat MORON:

An influential columnist predicted on a Sunday news show that Mitt Romney will help launch a "new global war" if elected president.

Andrew Sullivan, who writes for the Daily Beast, made the claim on Sunday's edition of the syndicated "Chris Matthews Show." Matthews also hosts the nightly commentary show "Hardball" on MSNBC.

It was. Bush took office with a balanced budget.

Left with a trillion dollar deficit & doubling the debt.

All with Paul Ryan's help.

Still can't remember what happened on 9/11/2001 I see. Maybe some ginkgo will help.

BTW, the Trillion dollar deficit was in a large part due to TARP, which Obama not only voted for but spoke on the senate floor in support of.
