The Administration was not even aware that Ambassador Stevens and his entourage were in Benghazi. They traveled there from Tripoli, where the Embassy is, to a consulate in Benghazi without notifying anybody at the State Department. If he had he probably would have been advised not to leave Tripoli, especially on or around Sept. 11.
Of course the state dept knows were their ambassador was. What you are implying is the admin is totally incompetent for not knowing.

Define "typical gun nut."
I think you are confusing "typical gun nut" with "typical american gun owner."
Gun nuts go on shooting sprees usually killing innocent people in the process.
I have owned guns for 47 years and not one single person has ever been threatened with,or hurt by any of my weapons regardless of whose possession they were in.
Gun Nut, v.: A person of lower than average intelligence who generally owns several firearms and centers his entire life around them. They usually suffer from extreme paranoia. A member of the subculture of gun owners who believe the 2nd Amendment is the most important right in the Constitution. They incorrectly believe that the 2nd Amendment gives anybody the right to own a firearm. Male gun nuts often consider their firearm an extension of their small penis. Female gun nuts are usually obese and often display tattoos on their neck.

How is it that in cities and states with tough anti gun laws the crimes committed with guns are on the increase.
A prime example of this is Chicago.
The second amendment prevents the passage of laws making possesion of firearms a felony.
If you are already a convicted felon it is already a felony for you to possess a firearm. If you obey the laws of this country the Constitution grants the right to keep and bear firearms.
The 2nd Amendment will be repealed by President Obama's new Supreme Court.

Someone Has Finally Thrown Hillary Clinton Under The Bus And His Name Is Barack Obama

The White House is throwing Hillary Clinton under the 2012 election bus.

Top officials have already claimed the nation’s intelligence agencies did not alert the White House to the growing danger facing the State Department’s facility in Benghazi, Libya, which was destroyed Sept. 11 by a jihadi attack on the 11th anniversary of the atrocities in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.

Ben Rhodes, President Barack Obama’s deputy national security adviser for communications, extended the claim Oct. 11 by telling told Foreign Policy magazine that neither Biden nor President Barack Obama knew of the growing danger.

“Biden speaks only for himself and the president and neither of them knew about the requests at the time,” Rhodes said, according to Foreign policy.

“These kinds of issues are handling in the State Department by security officials,” White House spokesman Jay Carney said during Friday’s press briefing.

Security matters “are decided at the State Department,” he said, amid tough questioning from Fox News Channel’s Ed Henry.

I'm not a FOXbot. I don't need to lie.

You may recently have seen some in the Internet rumor mill feverishly repeating the obvious truth above, in an effort to stir up fear about recent acquisitions of ammunition by the Department of Homeland Security and a number of smaller agencies. The mildest writers have questioned why seemingly mundane agencies would need ammunition at all; more incendiary authors suggest that these government agencies are preparing for a war with the American people.

Much of the concern stems from a lack of understanding of the law enforcement functions carried about by officers in small federal agencies. These agents have the power to make arrests and execute warrants, just like their better-known counterparts at agencies like the FBI.

....Perhaps most strangely, some have cited the purchase of hollow-point ammunition as evidence of the federal government's evil motives. Hollow-points are the defensive ammunition of choice for federal, state and local law enforcement officers across the country, just as they are for private citizens. These attacks are eerily similar to statements made by gun prohibitionists, who spent the much of the '70s,'80s and '90s complaining about "dum dum" bullets.(In fact, the Violence Policy Center's website still exhibits a publication lamenting that federal ammunition law "has no effect on today's generation of high-tech hollow-point ammunition.") The attacks also ignore the fact that federal agents, unlike average taxpayers on more limited budgets, normally train and qualify with their duty ammunition.

As most gun owners will agree, skepticism of government is healthy. But today, there are more than enough actual threats to the Second Amendment to keep gun owners busy. With two key Supreme Court decisions hanging by a one-vote margin, the Justice Department deeply involved in a cover-up of a disastrous Mexican gun smuggling operation, and President Obama touting a ban on popular semi-automatic firearms, there is no need to invent additional threats to our rights.

The attack did not occur at the Libyan embassy. It occurred at a compound in Benghazi, some 600 miles away. The State Department was not notified that Ambassador Stevens and his entourage were traveling to Benghazi. Anyway, it was the Republicans who voted to cut funding for security at foreign embassies.

U.S. President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney are neck and neck in opinion polls, but there is one area in which the incumbent appears to have a big advantage: those who have already cast their ballots.
Obama leads Romney by 59 percent to 31 percent among early voters, according to Reuters/Ipsos polling data compiled in recent weeks.
The sample size of early voters is relatively small, but the Democrat's margin is still well above the poll's credibility interval - a measurement of polls' accuracy - of 10 percentage points.(full graphic: http://bit.ly/RmeEen )
With the Nov. 6 election just more than three weeks away, 7 percent of those surveyed said they had already voted either in person or by mail (full graphic: http://bit.ly/SWm5YR ).
The online poll is another sign that early voting is likely to play a bigger role this year than in 2008, when roughly one in three voters cast a ballot before Election Day. Voting is already under way in some form in at least 40 states.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/14/obam...
The last time I saw a break down of early voting requests Obama was behind were he was in 2008 in the swing states. Data is what it is? This was an on line poll requiring people willing to do one of these. Not much fun as I did one and it took over a half hour. File in interesting .

If they were not notified, how would they know? Ambassador Stevens failed to notify the State Dept. because he knew they would advise him not to go to Benghazi.

Can't we just go into a police precint and surrender them for cash like Obama loving ghetto dwellers do now? Like the Cash for Clunkers Program it could be called the Cash for Surrender Program? Another great lib idea. Meanwhile, whenever Obama lovers overtake a community, the neighborhood goes really, really fast. Then all the limousine liberals relocate where they (from their new safe neighborhoods) fashionably invite diversity again.

You are stacking a bunch of talking points one on top of another without making any connections and think this is a brilliant response.

Give us an example of when the middle class created any new job without having a CEO or owner. This could be interesting.
