You're right, Romney is not Reagan. But the state of the union at the end of Carter's first term and this president's is strikingly similar.
All the lacks is an oil embargo.(the difference-Carter had an oil embargo on his hands)

But we don't need no stinking Keystone oil.....

The f*cking ignorant POS Thomas Jefferson. Said all men are created equal. Of all the nerve.
No one is saying the American people are all the same or inseparable. That is your lie.
"real dumb"
You are dumb and your comprehension skills are nil. Everyone with a brain on this thread realizes you are nothing but a troll, one with his hand out that parrots, one who can not comprehend that it is bad for America to have about 48% of it's workers contributing nothing in Federal Income tax.
Speaking of ignorantfucking POS's, you are the champeen. Your stoopidity knows no bounds. Get a job, quit being a taker and be a provider, just once in your sorry life.

Although you do display a lot more level of refinement Carol than some of your fellow conservative posters. You still have that filter engaged all the time in your brain, the kind that filters out anything rational or logical that just might make sense if only it didn't clash with conservative ideology.
No one asks the question why does the US always take on Israel's viewpoint as if they were the only oppressed nation on the planet. What makes them so special that they are always at the top of the list when a country like Sudan or another war torn country in Africa gets totally ignored. When 1000's and in some cases 100,000's are being killed or Genocide is being committed elsewhere. By taking a view point that everyone is treated equal border disputes and culture clashes can sometimes be solved without going to war. Not always but it surely must be the first avenue explored. Now take Romney's position and ask yourself how he might be viewed as an objective negotiator between Israel & everyone who surronds its borders.
The United States has been supportive of Jews and the nation of Israel since its birth in 1948, being the first country to recognize its sovreignty.

It goes back even further than that.

Important to today's headlines, interestingly enough, is that God promised Jerusalem would be a cup of reeling for the whole world, that nations would be raised up against her. Zechariah 12:2-3.

Which is what we are witnessing. Jerusalem is pivotal in connecting the past with the present.

The fun has already begun... have you failed to comprehend Mitts words?
I think so, one of many, many GOP lemmings rushing to dive over the cliff. I say good riddance!
Here was Romney raw and unplugged—sort of unscripted. With this crowd of fellow millionaires, he apparently felt free to utter what he really believes and would never dare say out in the open.
He displayed a high degree of disgust for nearly half of his fellow citizens, lumping all Obama voters into a mass of shiftless moochers who don't contribute much, if anything, to society, and he indicated that he viewed the election as a battle between strivers (such as himself and the donors before him) and parasitic free-riders who lack character, fortitude, and initiative.
Yet Romney explained to his patrons that he could not speak such harsh words about Obama in public, lest he insult those independent voters who sided with Obama in 2008 and whom he desperately needs in this election.
These were sentiments not to be shared with the voters; it was inside information, available only to the select few who had paid for the privilege of experiencing the real Romney.
COMING SOON: More from the secret Romney video.(Romney tells his donors he doesn't believe in a two-state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, that resolving this conflict is "almost unthinkable," and that he would merely "kick the ball down the field.")
the truth hurts...particularly for a scumbag like you with an obscene screen name......

1% sez 47% are worthless slobs? Here comes 53%...Barack Obama, Our Next President!!

Give it up, you are the 47% losers - Obama won the election this week. Thank Heavens for ObamaCare, Romney can get his Foot-In-Mouth treated back in his Sun Valley Utah compound. But don't worry, 47% losers, Romney will gladly stiff you for as much of a tax break as he can get from us 53% Obama voters AND the 47% Romnutts!! LOL

Now, carry on with your pointless rant/rave (I'm sure you will). Democrats will continue to watch your faintly-amusing-but-mostly-pai nful-to-watch mouth-foaming. Better luck in 2016!

Ironically Clint Eastwood did not endorse Romney ...
Excerpt from Eastwood's speech:

I haven’t cried that hard since I found out that there is 23 million unemployed people in this country.

(APPLAUSE)

Now that is something to cry for because that is a disgrace, a national disgrace, and we haven’t done enough, obviously -- this administration hasn’t done enough to cure that.

I think it is maybe time -- what do you think -- for maybe a businessman. How about that?

(APPLAUSE)

A stellar businessman. Quote, unquote,“a stellar businessman.”

And I think it’s that time. And I think if you just step aside and Mr. Romney can kind of take over, you can maybe still use a plane.

...sounds like an endorsement to me.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Cancer

Love could catch you by surprise today. You might be strongly attracted to someone who isn't your usual type at all but who makes your knees go weak all the same, or you could get caught up in an illicit relationship that's exciting because it has to be kept a secret. If you're already involved with someone they'll need plenty of freedom and won't appreciate feeling emotionally tied down. You need to let them off the leash for a short while!
