I live on the West Side. There is an open air drug market that operates around the clock, 24/7.
I've gone to CAPS meetings, written letters to the Commander of the police station, written letters to the Mayor, written letters to the Police superintendent. I call 911 constantly, sometimes I call 10 times in one hour. In spite of all this, the police refuse to arrest the criminals who violate the law in plain view. There is even a police camera next to the open air drug market.
If I'm lucky the cops will drive by for a few seconds, but they will not get out of their cars and question or search the drug dealers. Here is a video on youtube of the lawlessness, what can I do?

You can go onlne and fill out a complaint with Cook Conty Sheriff dept. They will call, ask for more details and investigate, whch takes time, therefore they will not do anything right away. Take notes and pics that would be helpful to the police. Hope this helps!

The YouTube video was excellent [five stars]!

All drugs should be legalized. Prostitution should be legal too.

Govt is always our worst enemy.

Already did that. Wrote letters to commander of police station, sent video and photos, informed the mayor's office, called drug hotline, nothing seems to help. This corner apears to have an invisible force field around it protecting it from law enforcements. Cops refuse to investigage, why???

What gives???

It is odd that every little crap job for the City has to be drug tested BUT the City Hall Gangsters who RUN the City have no Drup tests. Very interesting.

Looks like open season to me. Of course, the act of subtraction isn't for everyone. Wish I lived close enough to help. I have more than enough to deal with as it is.
