There were plenty of non-Catholics at my HS. They had to take religion classes every year, but were not required to go to Mass. Catholic students had to go to monthly mass.

That is really unusual. The Vatican has always been very clear about their position in communion and I'm surprised that a school would not explain why the sacraments are so important to Catholics. It is the main thing that separates the Catholic Church from other Christian denominations.
The school was about 40% non-Catholic. The girl who was class president was also Protestant and in the chorus with my daughter. The two of tehm found out senior year over a spring trip to NYC for a chorus comettition. The chaparones arranged for Sthem to attend Sunday Mass at St Patricks (?), the big cathedral in Manhattan. Neither girl was aware that tehy would not be invited to take Communion.

FWIW, through out 4 years of college each voluntarily was active in the Catholic church on their respective campuses and since I didn't hear anything to teh contray I am assuming the campus churches were serving them. Sounds like the local priests were engaging in recruitment, and not in a bad way.

<quoted text>I took communion, too. Maybe it was wrong, but I've been baptized, I take communion at "my" church, and it's not like it's a different God (I can see your point if I took communion at a mosque or at a Buddha temple-- THEN there's a difference) but I don't really see anything wrong with taking communion of a common Savior, even though they're technically a different "religion."

<quoted text>Muhammad is not my Jesus and the Buddha savior is... well, whoever it is, but it's probably not my Jesus either. BIG DIFFERENCE.

As I said.*I* never mentioned Jesus. I said that the "big three" religions share the same god to which you replied some BS about Jesus and Mohammed (human beings).
