I'm so glad I found crwoning glory. I didnt know what to expect this was my 1st lace wig. They where really helpful and did such a great job installing my wig you cant see any glue in the front or back. I just love the baby hair! I didn't know how to apply it right and I made an appointment with her and she hooked me up. I get emotional about it because i have alpoecia and i hate Beauty supply store wigs. but her wigs are natural and they are affordable & I got some cute jimmy choo's from her.

So many peoplple in Chicago are trying to do lace wigs. The beauty supply store people are even putting them on.(Do you need a license to apply a lace wig ?) I had a few places in mind to go to. I went to one place (which was my second choice ) just to hear the chick Bad Mouth another lace wig seller. I wanted to tell her (" Stop Hating", she been doing it longer than you have")so of course wasn't no hater getting in my head. My first choice stays booked on days I want to come in because she do regular hair too. Another girl do it at her house but she work at the bank. Oh noooo Does anyone know where I can go in the CHI for a LACE ?

I had to comment on this. I have suffered with hairloss all of my life and was reluctant to try lace wigs, especially since it appears the market is dominated by African American ladies. I was reluctant because I assumed that the texture wouldn't suit me because I am white. I took a gamble on a coworkers advice on a young lady that goes by the name of Nicole. She took her time and educated me and I most say that I am completely satisfied with my wig. It is lovely and my husband loves me in it!

I love Lace front wigs as i can take them off at night and put them on in the morning. There is this wonderful site run by a proffessional woman based in Scotland www.lacewigdiva.co.uk . the lace wigs comes in meduim to heavy density and it just looks like your own real hair but with the flexibility of talikg them off. try it out. I am her customer for life.

Okay thanks for your reponses but i was finally able to get in contact with my first choice. Honey. She specializes in lace wigs. Takes good care of my natural hair but she stays booked! It is hard to get an appointment with her that coincides with my schedule. She is definitely worth the wait tho. But I would like to find another good lace wig applier to use as a backup.

Girl it's plenty of ways to get in with HONEY you just gotta know how.
What you need to do is make your return appointment before you leave. If you can't make it just call and reschedule. at least you know u have a slot. or Call the salon and ask for her assistant. It is also good to get her assistant cell number, that way she can slide you in on short notice. email Honey beforehand with the day and time you want Tuesdays and Wednesdays before 3pm are perfect. I slide in everytime on a Saturday.In the mornings @ 9am her assistant comes in and preps me and i am first or second in the chair bcuz doesn't get there til 10am.
She styles your wig and layer cuts and razor cuts your lace and does twists crimps roller sets rods EVERYTHING. I LOVE ME SOME HONEY, MY GIRL DA BOMB ! dats my pic on her website www.honeylacewigs.webs.com
