frankly I do not understand how any black person could vote for any democrat.

Blacks need to consider they have been voting for democrats for the past 50 years in Chicago and blacks need to ask them selves is life better in my neighborhood after 50 years of voting for democrats?

Crime is way up, too many black children killed by black & immigrant drug gangs using unregistered unlicensed guns, no shopping on the south side . unsafe underperforming schools.

South side is a mess and getting worse each year, yet blacks keep voting for more of what they got now which is nothing.

I was born on the south side 100 south bensely ave 60619 I could walk from the movies on 71st street to my home on bensley safely, in the 60's. Can't do that today,

there use to be lots of jobs on the south side until democrats over taxed over regulated business and drove them out of town.

Question for blacks on the south side do you want more dead kids, more drug gangs more taxes, fewer jobs or do you want real change on the south side?.

to bring change you have to bring new people into city hall new attitudes new ways of doing business or you can keep voting for democrats and get more of what you have now a big fat NOTHING

I've done well with Republicans and Democrats in office. Life is what you make it,and if have the will, you will make it in this society weather you are a high school dropout or have a Doctorate! Black people can't blame the politicians for their plight. Oftentimes it's the lifestyles they lead!

People like you who live in their own little world's are a boon to corrupt politicians. I agree both parties are bad. But nothing worse than have a one party rule in a big city like Chicago and lately the whole state. Can you afford to keep paying more and more taxes? Guess so, you sound like a yuppie. But self centered people like you need to start thinking about the future of our children.

In Illinois, Bruce Rauner once "supported" a credit union - not sure how much, if any, it was black-owned but predominantly "black frequented". He did this in an attempt to try to buy black votes. It's just another example of a wealthy politician looking out for himself only. Don't fall for the trap.

Why are you so worried about who Blacks vote for?
From what I've seen the Republicans haven't put your ass on the list into the Country Club either. Are you in the 1%? You come here babbling about blacks voting Democrat, but it's Republican policies that are stripping away your children's education, your healthcare, and your retirement. Hell they don't even want people to have equal access on the web anymore without having users stuff the pockets of ISP's with more money. That indeed was a move for the 1%.

Chicago is not the ONLY place in America where there are black people. It's not the only city where there are Democrats either. My city on the West coast is run by Democrats and we are doing well. There are homeless people, but we are doing well. How come white people like you can't be like us?
After all, this is what you're asking Blacks who vote Democrat. I live in a very low crime City that is very diverse culturally. It's mostly run by Democrats. I'm a liberal Democrat. How are we doing it, but cities like Chicago are not?

Maybe you need to ask yourself some questions.

Rauner is a vicious anti-labor, union-busting cretin like VP Pence and Wisconsin's Scott Walker, and Walker unfortunately carries superior executive powers compared to other state governors. It's recommended that most of Wisconsin's working residents leave there AFAP if they could, though Rauner has a harder time with his ball-breaking because he has to work more bi-partisanly.

Rauner, RUN LIKE THE WIND FROM ARMPIT ILLINOIS. It will NEVER be 'fixed'. The state is a slum
that will be declaring bankruptsy in 18 months. JP and Michel and Rham plan to raise property taxes on the ENTIRE STATE and the INCOME TAX TO 9% to help pay off what the democraps have screwed up for 4 Generations. It WILL NOT WORK. RUN RUN away the Tenn., Nev, Texas but stay away from Florida due to way to many CROOK COUNTY DEMOCRAPS moving there. They might start up an income tax in FL. Illinois is a LOST CAUSE, DON'T BOTHER.

It gets harder however, for advocates of economic justice to find regions to escape to in America, as money-worshipping conservatives have done a stellar power-grabbing drive in the past year, despite few exceptions.

crime loving democraps, Teacher loving Unions, etc. are and were the problem.

Lately, it's been widely reported that McConnell and Trump are having a "feud" as many other conservatives are increasingly labeling McConnell as a "fake Republican", while conveniently forgetting that McConnell has always been a near life-long proponent of campaign finance secrecy, as only a true Republican could/would. It's not McConnell's fault that he couldn't ram through Trumpcare. Both the general public, and government officials, simply saw through their B.S.

Rauner has also made a career out of union-busting (same as our Veep Mike Pence and Scott Walker of Wisconsin, and others), which harms most Americans, as these types of typical pro-business ultra-cons keep crushing the middle class, working class and the poor. It should also be reminded that much of the poor is also part of the working class.
