The weekend that started violently has ended the same way. Another four people were slain overnight, Chicago police said this morning.

Much like DC and other locations you have passed gun control restrictions which affected only the law-abiding and are ignored by criminals. The criminals (who now have superior force) then run rampant and your response is "we must crack down with more gun control laws".

Don't talk about how London is safer, I know better.
I have friends there that I talk to often.
They have roving gangs of teenagers there that are stabbing everyone.
Many younger people have multiple knife wounds from multiple attacks.
It's a mess there. Stop trying to make it sound different.
