I had some things taken from my rental propery. I purchased some lawn items - about $60 in value on 10/2, noticed things missing on 10/11 and did police report stating that I thought tenants were persons of interest in theft. On 10/14, I went and bought replacements. On 10/21, male tenant called me and Sheriff's office and told us tha female tenant had taken items and placed at her brother's house in shed. Sheriff recovered items on 10/21. Female is not paying rent and has stolen from me. She is on disability, so I am unable to collect if she tears up anything in house. I do have my stolen items back. I'm evicting, should I also file charges on her for theft or will judge think it's too small?
