Actually, the 30 minutes or less policy has been outlawed because too many of their 16 yr old delivery boys were getting into or causing accidents because they were rushing to beat the clock.

Jimmy John's stopped the "freaky fast" delivery mention in their ads a while ago. And the delivery times weren't outlawed, Domino's just learned a valuable lesson, one that I imagine their corporate lawyers communicated to the franchises.

We have this Chinese places that's ridiculously fast. And good.

But I try not to eat Chinese too often -- too much salt.

Hey Red.. I had to take my cat into the vet last friday. She was blowing snot about twice a day for a week or so, but then she had this huge knot inbetween her eyes. Figured it was sinus inflamation and brought her in.
They took samples of the know (have not heard back yet) and gave her a shot of antibiotics (2week shot) and gave me antihistime (sp) pills.

Anyway my point is I have only had about a 50% success rate with the pills.(cats will chew and claw you to death) The swelling has gone down and she is markedly improved. My question is, am I doing ok on the histim pills. It said to increase of it was worse, but nothing about what is a min.

there is still a lump, but much reduced and I am hoping that what I am doing is enough. I gave up on the pill, and now disolve it in water and use an injector to give it to her. The first shot is usually swallowed, second one just makes her foam at the mouth with drool hanging. Looks absolutely rabid.

Thoughts please.

PS, she will be 20 this year

I can't give you any advice, honestly! It sounds like what you did with her pill was a reasonable alternative. My cats take pills better than most cats do, I think, so I don't have the trouble so many other people have. But I'm sort of a cat whisperer. When I babysat this week, I also clipped their cats' SCARY long claws. It took several times, but I sometimes would just do a few claws at once then leave the cat alone before he got too pissed off. They wrap their cats in towels to clip their claws, but I've never had to do that.(I had a neighbor who had me come over once a week to clip her three cats' claws.)

Re: the foam at the mouth: That's how Mia got when I tried to give her pepto bismol. It got so bad, I just gave up the third time and decided to not torture her.

IOW, I'm not much help and I"m sorry. Your cat is going to be 20, which is amazing! She goes outside?(if she does, it's even more amazing that she has lived that long!)

Good for you for being a good dad to your pets.

Depending on what kind of food you're feeding her, you can dissolve the pills in water and then mix that in with her food.

When my mom had to give her cat valium (to stimulate her appitite) she would disolve it in vanilla ice cream. Totally irresistable, even to a sick kitty.

I have to clip my hemmingway's claws she cant really use them all and some just dont get worn down. I know its time when I hear her clicking when she walks.

Yeah, she's an old girl and both go outside, but stay in an area that is about 30 sq ft. If they wander past that, I just yell and they come back.

Off to buy ice cream! eh, and maybe some beers too!
