Officials hope new train station gets Oak Forest rolling
The mayor of Oak Forest was a few minutes late Friday afternoon for one of the city's biggest events of the year, the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Metra train station at the northwest corner of 159th Street and Cicero Avenue.

Other than the usual stories about tax hikes, this is a positive story for OF. Where is the Patch and their minions of doofs to write an article about the train station? Too busy looking for the latest divorce stats? if your going to call yourself a 'community' news outlet, then report on the news, both good and bad, or just do us all a favour and shut down.
