Glen of Glentech Enterprises was able to solve problems with my stereo equipment that no one else was able to. He is highly recommended by me.

Glentech pays for search engine optimization (SEO) because he can't get customers based on the quality of the product or services, but, hey, I just added to the number of hits.
Just sayin. Don't bill him for snark.

Been a customer of Glentech for over 10 years. He has always treated me fairly, and quickly resolved any issues with product he sold me or worked on.

Without Glen I would not have a choice of Programming, C-Band Satellite would be dead thanks Glen for your good work, and keep it up.

I have a big dish and C band is dead with the exception of H2H which has nothing to do with this guy. H2H has very limited programming and was activated shortly after the shut down of the DC2 signal in 2010.

I called "Glen" about 2 years ago to get my 922 4DTV receiver remapped. He was very nice at first but started to get agitated with me when I asked about the legalities of his methods. I began to get agitated back because it was going to cost me hundreds of dollars and could take up to 3 months to get my receiver remapped and what really set this guy off was when I told him I had already replaced the memory battery myself. He claimed that people like me who don't know what their doing will eventually destroy the receiver because I don't know how to solder a simple connection and he would change the battery anyway to save my receiver. After a few more insults, I finally told him I would throw my receiver in the fire before I would send it to him. Then he called me a commy and hung up on me.

About 2 weeks later, several web sights cam out with a simple procedure to remap your own receiver. The files can be easily downloaded and transferred to your satellite receiver and takes only about 45 minutes to do. NOT 3 MONTHS!.

There are other web sights that have people that have had several bad experiences similar to mine. Just do a simple search.

As far as this "Rainier Satellite" web sight, I still have yet to see anything come of it. Every promise is constantly broken and/or "delayed". Not a single thing has come out from this sight. Even the programming link chases it's own tail round and round, month after month.

This guy might be able to fix an old stereo here and there but C Band DCll subscription is DEAD!.

I've been a customer of GlenTech Enterprises for over 10 years. Glen has worked on many electronic products of mine. I never had any problems with the repairs done, He is always fair and gives me great service. I will continue with him for all my electronic and satellite needs for many years to come.

Glen has helped C band satellite so much. The ones who post C band is dead here are ones who promote other small dish services or have a hidden agenda. One can read the truth about the smear campaign smear forums and blogs have posted about Glen by looking at

You said it. "Helped"...... Past tense.
C-band has such slim pickings anymore.
Compared to when I first got my big dish, there really is very little on C-Band anymore.
And I don't sell or promote cable, Direct or Dish network. In fact, I don't even work in that field at all. It's just a fact.
C-Band is dying. In every sense of the word. Month by month, I loose more and more stuff. How can somebody claim that C-Band is better than ever.

With all due respect Cracker Jack, you appear to be trolling and looking for attention from all you post. It seems you have a personal axe to grind with this person. You post the same fictitious information and defamatory statements as found on those smear forums and blogs, so one can tell your from there. You probably don't even have a c band dish.

If your really interested in what is happening, C band is in the process of being reborn such as in its humble beginning as a grassroots movement. If you really were into c band and cared about it you would do something positive, such as many are. Instead you look for ways to continue your personal attack against this person and all he has done and is doing. sad sad.......

No personal axe or continuing attacks. If anything, that's an attack on me. Not trolling either. Just fact from my experience. Why get defensive?
From everything on C-Band, as a matter of fact, has gone from thousands of stations, feeds and everything subscriptions you could think of to just a small handful of very limited selections, very few feeds, very limited subscriptions.
And you better watch it. I have nothing to do with those "smear" campaigns as you put it. DO NOT TAG me with them. You do not know me so therefore, don't accuse me. I do not know them nor do I associate with them. Careful what you say.
As a big dish owner, I can tell you and anybody else that has C-Band that for all practical purposes, C-Band is dead.
If I were you, I would do an internet search for C-Band. All the web sights that were flourishing in the 90's are now gone. All the retailers are all but gone. How can you sit there and tell me that C-Band is going to be reborn when one web page loops you through several menus wasting your time and the other one doesn't even let you read it's threads. And those two sights are all there is in the whole world.
Roku is where it's at. Cheaper. Watch what you want when you want. Watch content on your TV, cell phone, tablet, computer, Kindle. Anywhere, Anytime. And the HD content is brilliant.
So even if C-Band comes back, even barely, how will it compare to modern entertainment.
Instead of bashing me, explain what is good about C-Band in a non hateful way.
I just explained to you why Roku is good. And this is just 1 modern marvel.

With all due respect Cracker Jack, you should look at your own posts here and see the things you said about Glen, saying he called you names and such. This borders on defamation of character of Glen. I know what you say he said is not true. Glen has repaired many of my electronic devices over the past 25 years. I have met the man in person and been to his different shops many many times. He always has treated me with the most respect, and is a decent person. In fact he would give the shirt off his back to make a customer happy. So that is my personal experience, have you ever even met the man in person? If not maybe you should, maybe your views would change about him.

As far as C band goes you seem disgruntled about it and have nothing good to say. You are now promoting some devices that has nothing to do with C band. So enjoy your IP devices and have a good day..

What I said is true. How can that be defamation of character? It sounds as though you and all the other praising this guy are all best buds and when somebody disagrees with you, you get all defensive and stuff. And that's OK. That's what friends are for. Perhaps he treats you good, along with all the other buds in Chicago, but my experience was lousy. and I'm sorry that hurts your feelings. Maybe it's because I don't live in Chicago.
And if you were to do an internet search on your friend, you'll find many, many unsatisfied customers from several different web sights. Please, do a search.
Anybody can do a search on Glen Musielak or Glentech and come to their own conclusions.
Plus, what you're doing is false advertisement, promoting an outdated satellite system saying it's stronger than ever when in fact, it's weaker than ever. How come when I did a search for programming 15 years ago, there were hundreds of sights that dealt with parts, systems, and the biggest choice of channels ever. Now there's only a small handful?
Isn't this the truth? Am I lying when I speak the truth?
And since when is this forum just about C-Band? Look at the title:
"anybody know Glen Musielak? Glentech?"
Does it say anything about C-Band? No.
So I gave my thoughts about Glen Musielak. Just what the forum asked.
I'm not disgruntled, just disgusted at a forum that's promoting something that's not there.
Do you really want to keep discussing this. I can go on and on.

Being a customer of Glen's for 10 years and have met him also. I can tell you what Nick states is true. He has always treated me very well, and is a decent person. He has been in business in Chicago for more than 30 years. If he stooped to the level that you state Mr Jack, he wouldn't have been in business this long. Even the BBB gives him an excellent rating.

To me it looks as if a few rotten apples that are mad at him for some unknown reason are trying to use the internet to promote there hidden agenda to kill off c band satellite. Since Glen is involved with bringing it back, he is a threat to them. If your not part of this, you're falling into there trap, and being used. Maybe you should seek out a paycheck for this.

This hidden agenda all started with a well known forum that promotes dish network. It is well known the CEO of dish network has been very active in destroying c band for over a decade with the buyout of Turnervision, Superstar, Netlink and NPS and forcing those c band subscribers to dish network. You need to do your own homework Mr Jack and look into the dealings that went down with dish, NPS, Motorola and the like. Maybe then you would understand why c band is where it is at.

You can continue to ramble Mr Jack, but Glen's achievements, good business ratings for many years, and satisfied customers say it all. No matter what a handful of bad apples try to promote on the internet. I will stand behind him as many other will for many years to come.
