Kevin Piskura still critical after stunned by police

Kevin was my neighbor on brendalee dr. he used to help my dad with yard work when he was recovering from back problems. he was a very very nice young man and he definatly did not desurve this. Please pray for him and keep him in your prayers , miracles do happen !!!:)

I was not at Brickstreet at the time - our other friends were and have stayed in Cincy for the past few days w/ Kevin and his family.

Kevin is still fighting the good fight so keep him in your prayers.

"A Friend" - Kevin is not a big guy NOR is he over 200 lbs. He is a healthy kind 24 yr old in great shape... Don't believe everything you hear. But please keep praying.

I would like to respectfully ask those who have been commenting on whether or not Kevin is still alive to please refrain from playing "news reporter." Those who know and love Kevin find nothing more heartbreaking and vile than seeing such misinformed comments. He is still fighting. Let him fight.

Hopefully Kevin's case will open the eyes of MU administrators to the foul treatment students have received over the years. Surely, not all Oxford cops should be bashed at this time. Taking into consideration Kevin's past (dad and sister with police backgrounds), Kevin would not want us to speak this way about the entire Oxford police force. Adhering to his parents' wishes, I will keep my personal opinions regarding the use of this weapon out of my post.

I wen to high school with kevin. He was a great guy and always looked out for his friends.

My prayers and thoughts are with him and his family, he's strong, have faith, he can still come back to us

Officer Robinson is an ex-Miami football player, he is at least 6'4" and over 250lb. there is absolutely no way this kid posed any kind of a threat him. Officer Robinson is known for being power hungry, ask others who have had encounters with him. The whole department is power hungry. The whole thing needs an independant review from a department outside southern Ohio

I knew Kevin through work. My hospital was one of his accounts where he was a regular fixture. He was very professional and well-liked by our entire staff. It is hard to imagine that he was the kind of person who would need to be tasered.

We are all devastated by his death. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I can't believe this has happened. Kevin is a really nice guy. Is he still alive? We are all pulling for him.

Is there any site/way to get accurate updates on Kevin? As a family friend, I'm not in any way in contact with the Piskuras at this tragic time but more at the mercy of the rumor mill, which has now misled me numerous times. Is there anyone who IS close to Kevin/Piskuras who can update me? I'm always praying for a miracle. No family deserves it more.

Officer Robinson was a former Brickstreet Bouncer himself. He is a large man. He was also a guard at a correctional facility prior to joining the force.

Kevin passed today at 5:17pm.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family, but also to the Oxford Police Department who now have to deal with the circumstances surrounding this tragedy.

May the Lord bless and keep each and every one of the people touched by this event.

May God rest his soul. He passed away today. What a wonderful friend and what a meaningless death. We need to let police officers and people around us realize that life is more than an episode of South Park and "respecting authority" its reasoning and respecting life.
I can only hope that the officer who did this can learn to respect others - horrible way to learn a life lesson. Oh and 10 seconds, yeah.. way too excessive.

Hopefully someone will now investigate the entire judiciary system of Oxford/Miami University. It is totally out of control(corrupt?) and certainly not student friendly --to say the very least. Miami should be ashamed. Great story here for 60 minutes.

I worked with Kevin for a few summers at the park in Walton Hills. Kevin was such a great guy and friend. All I can say is that this is so truly awful. All my prayers are with the family.

I knew kevin very well and he would never threaten or even approach a police officer in any violent way. These police officer is a piece of shit I hope he gets his badge stripped and is put in jail.
