My reading is fine Slack-jawed fool. If God didn't create you, who did? Rest assured, you were created. Short on faith, huh? Not surprised, you're short on many things. You really can't pass up a dig on religion, can you? LMAO! What a sad example of a human being, you are. Sad. Sad. Sad.
Oh, and God created me? Silly me, thought it was my father's sperm and my mother's egg. What do you know?

If He created me , did he also create Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao, Kim Il Sung etc? Do you think, once He realised what he did, He said "oops"?

Purely by chance, right? LMAO!
1. Scrutiny's belief is based on science.

2. Your belief is based on superstition and blind faith, on depraved old men to whom God allegedly spoke, with, how convenient, nary a witness..

I'll take number 1 any time.

Darrel, God gave us all free-will. Do I think he said oops? Nope. It is our choice what we do with our lives. We will not only be the cause of Armageddon, we'll also be the participants. Your hatred has become laughable!!! A boar's sperm and a sow's egg will only produce a pig! Nothing like a pig cooked in the ground!

As I said, have at it! Science? You mean man-made science? As you've already pointed out, it must be full of flaws and lies, right? LMAO!!! So, basically you put your trust and faith in man-made things. Not very smart on your part. LMAO!!!

Why, oh why do you insist on making a fool of yourself? Is it some manner of masochism?

So it's our choice? Really? Then why does God, who supposedly knew what Hitler and the other tyrants I named would amount to allow them to be born, in HIS IMAGE, right?

Now, a proposition for you, slug. God knows this particular one's gonna be a torturer, killer, rapist, etc. Still, free choice, like you said, bastard chooses to be a scoundrel, God lets him.

You have a son, let's say, who is of course free, majority age and all that, free as God and you, his daddy, intended him to be. He informs you he's going to jump off a 40-storey building tomorrow at 7H00 AM sharp. Remember, he's free, has made his choice like you said. Will you let him do it? Like God let Hitler torture and kill and then commit suicide?

Prediction : You won't answer the question. At least not honestly.

Well, man-made science certainly seems more appealing than man-made God. At least, if we do not believe in science, we are not threatened with going to hell.

Yes, it is our choice what we do with our lives. It is our free will. Some will choose to do good things while others do the opposite. It's the same battle that's been going on since the beginning of time, good vs. evil. Son: if he had already made up his mind, is there anything, anyone could do? Of course, I would try to convince him otherwise but I wouldn't be able to stop him. I might delay it but that's all. "If" his mind is made up. I've lived this scene, for real. All things happen for a reason, it is our job to learn from it. Tragedy is just part of life. You know, before I got sober, I blamed God for many things that were wrong in my life. I later learned, I was responsible for my mess, no one else. Life wasn't bad to me, I was. You have a very twisted view of religion. Instead of looking for the good, you look for what you deem to be bad. Very strange. God didn't say he'd be home at five, cook dinner and tuck us in, you know. He gave us guidelines to live by. Good guidelines.

Yes. God created you. Ans yea, He created all mankind, each with a free will. I don't think God would deny any righteous person entrance into heaven, even an atheist. Do I expect to see Hitler, Pol Pot, Mao, Kim Jong Il, etc., no. But God will decide, not me nor you. Why he may not even allow me for all I know.
I know one earns his angel wings one feather at a time and every now and then God pucks a few out of your wings. To paraphrase Gandhi, if God was at the top of a mountain and Hindus took one path while Christians, Jews, Muslims, Janes, etc. took other paths, the object is to get to the top of the mountain.
I even think it is possible for mentally ill Liberals to get into Heaven.

I believe in the laws of physicists. You might get away with breaking the laws of man but you can never get away with trying to break the laws of physics. Nor will you get away with breaking the laws of God, but I will let him judge His laws.
Science neither can prove that God exists nor can they prove he does not.
I will pray for Obama to see the Light from above.

Hell, right now I would trade places in an instant. Unless he is somewhere rediculously hot.

Well, back then there was only one Ocean. The land mass on Earth was confined to a super continent called Pangea... till the plates began to shift. So, since all the water was in one place there is no need for distinction.

I think that if we weighed my desire for evidence to back up what I believe... against your magic, I think it would be hard for you to convince me you are right. For you to change my ideas to yours, it would require demonstrating that honest to goodness magic is real. You may well convince me I am wrong... but you are going to have to prove it.

I think it's amusing that Mr. dominion over the Earth... personal relationship with the creator of all... would have the wherewithal to bring MY vanity into question. You lack the proper currency friend.

Last year a meteor exploded over Sri Lanka...fragments were collected that have very real fossilized biological structures. Simple organisms. Now... no one is claiming that we found extraterrestrial life, because... we didn't. But we did find evidence of it. We aren't quite done fighting about it yet... but it's almost over.

I have it on record from an astrobiologist comrade that "It was like finding a 'Q' scrabble tile floating in space... it is worth ten points, but it would be nice to have found a few 'E's first."

Now, we have experimented with all kinds of stuff from Earth. And there are tiny forms of life on Earth that not only make it through the vacumm, radiation and amazing cold of space, but they also reanimate upon return. Provided that they are rehydrated.

Knowing these truths. I have no choice but to accept that it is entirely possible that if Earth were destroyed by anything short of a black hole... for framents of the Earth to seed a planet with everything it needs for life of it's own. Provided that fragment hit water.

And since that can actually happen. I have to accept that it could have happened here. In addition, that it could happen anywhere else.

It does not answer the spark of life question. But I think even you could do yourself a favor and admit that it is far more likely than being willed into existence as the centerpiece of the cosmos so that the pope can tell high primates not to jerk off, or eat ham, or whatever.

Science is real. Mythology is not. Yet you will find 50 horiscopes and numerology charts before you will run into one damn thing about the natural world.

You son's parable was rhetorical. Question was, would you not stop him from jumping off that 40th storey even though he is entirely free to do so? In the real world, it's not true that if he had made up his mind, could anyone stop him? Many, many persons intending suicide were convinced not to, were treated and have led useful and happy lives. Again, and if God knows one's
going to turn out badly , why is he allowing that one to be born? If he is the creator of everything, it's His failure to create AND allow it, no? Which shows that the whole thing's a sham - A real God would never allow that to happen. All made up by...MEN, not God.

Quick question. Did God actually decide all of the above? And if so, how do we know he did? We were told He spoke to prophets and men of God. But funny, strange, we have to believe those "men of God" and prophets, take their word for it, as there were never, not even once, witnesses. Take Genesis, the beginning of it all, according to the old Testament. No one knows who wrote that. It's rumoured it was Moses, but cannot be ascertained. How can we believe a written word that has no author? If you created a family, would you like it to resemble Adam and Eve's family? What a start!

Of course man-made science is going to agree with itself. Really? Do you believe in things that cannot be measured? Do you believe in things that cannot be seen? We're not talking about magic, but faith instead. See, here's a myth you believe, that I do not have the currency to bring your vanity into question. I already did. Meteor? Old news. Interesting but not new. Why do you think the placebo effect works? And, no offense but I'll remain leery of who you are.
