And what has Obama done for BLACK unemployment?

Under Clinton, that average was 5.5%;
under Bush, 5.0%;
under Obama, 6.9%.

Way to go Obummer Boy. I wonder how many blacks will vote Democrat this Fall?

Hummm, so minimum wage has been $7.25 per hour for the past five years and Obama wants to increase it to $10.10 per hour which is an increase of ..... 39% but inflation has gone up only 10%. Why? Why not increase in 10% to $8.00 per hour???

A $10.10 minimum wage is still less than the 1968 minimum wage of $1.60 after adjusting for inflation.

The only problem is 2014 is NOT over yet!!!
The only problem is Rougie is math challenged.

If the 10.5% figure for Obama is adjusted by a factor of 1.091 to account for the 5.5 years as compared to 6 years for Bush, the adjusted figure is 11.5%, which is still well below Bush's figure of 17.1%.

In other words, under Bush the inflation was over a period of six years, 0.238% per month. Under Obama through 5.5 years 0.159% per month.

That means by the end of 2014, the next six months under Obama would require a 1.1% per month rate (7 times higher than the rate for the past 5.5 years) to catch up to Dubya.

That's not going to happen, Rougie.

Correction:
Cost of Living
Six years under Bush (2000-2006) 17.1% inflation
Six years under Obama (2008-2014: 10.5% inflation
Inflation WAS 62.8% HIGHER under Bush then under Obama
Standard of Living
(federal minimum wage)
Six years under Bush (2000-2006):$5.15
Six years under Obama (2008-2014)$7.25
Minimum wage INCREASED 40% under Obama whereas under Bush minimum wage stayed at $5.15 for SIX YEARS while inflation rose 17.1%
To recap, under Bush inflation increased 17% while minimum wage was frozen at $5.15 for SIX YEARS. Under Obama, inflation rose only 10.5% in SIX YEARS and minimum wage rose 40%.

Because the present rate is too low, and I believe, has remained stationary for years, which more than justifies a 39% hike. Even at $10.10, it's still too low. No one can live on that. It's close to $12. here. No one can live on that either.

Obama's anti employment policy doesn't help any one. Obama should have as his number one agenda issue getting the 100 million people that are not working,working. Obama continues to lie about the economy while he completely ignores it and pushes his radical left wing agenda.

Yes, miserably and with food stamps and soup kitchens. Is that a way to live?

Last year, average wage increases in Canada topped at 2%. Average CEO and higher brass wage increases surpassed 25%, not counting perks, incentives and stocks. Looks more and more like that prince in his castle with the peasants outside the walls and below.

You'll respond that without bosses, the workers have no jobs. Now tell us where the bosses will be without the workers. Not pushing socialism or communism, pushing fairness, equity, is all. And , don't forget, most of those bosses own maybe 2, 3% tops of the companies they run.

I don't think minimum wage jobs were ever meant to provide one with a "sole" means of making a living. That is the very reason education is key. The more you know, the more you make. You can't come out of school barely able to read and write and expect to get rich.

The bosses without employees are probably hiring new people. And yes, there had to be a company first before anyone got hired. Explain what you mean by "fairness", as it applies to the U.S. and jobs.

Blacks outvoted whites in 2012, the first time on record
Posted by
CNN's Dan Merica

Washington (CNN) A new Census Bureau report shows a higher percentage of African-Americans than whites voted in a presidential election for the first time in history last year during the matchup between President Obama and GOP nominee Mitt Romney.

The report, released Wednesday, found that more than 66% of eligible blacks voted in the presidential contest. Only 64.1% of whites turned out to vote.

It is a STARTING wage. Why did the Dems not raise to to $12 an hour back in 2009 when they had both Houses of Congress and Obama to boot? They got through ObamaCare without the Republicans that year so why not ObamaWage two?
The ONLY reason they are bring up the issue NOW is to try an rally their failing base!!!!
