God speaks to you too. You choose not to listen. You take "Man's" word before the word of Christ. How foolish! Is it any wonder you're in a constant state of misery? I think not.
He does? I've seen thousands of poor suffering starving wretches. No hope. Does He speak to them? They number more than half the world's population. Did they bring it on themselves? They did? Even the babies? Is SomeOne asleep at the switch?

No, YOU take man's word before the word of Christ. This thing you call man put words in HIS mouth - and based on words He never mouthed, has created a religion that is a total anti-thesis of what He supposedly advanced. It is YOU who listens to man instead of God. Correct that, please.

Constant state of misery? Well,why not if you say so. How's your state of misery?

Theory that has been confirmed time and time again. As to faith, well, theory will trump it every time.
I asked you a few days ago if you had ever read the Bible - you never did answer. Ever read "Genesis", "Kings", "Exodus"? If you did, you wouldn't be coming here with platitudes of blind faith. On second thought, hmm, best not to read it, seeing as you love incest, rape, violence and murder. It may make you even more religious.
Read the Bible? I have already answered that question for you. Do you have any memory, at all? Just remember Jacqtari, you were offered a win/win deal and refused it. Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! Only the smallest and most frightened men speak of the Bible in negative terms. Why does it scare you so?

1. Not frightened. YOU are, else you wouldn't believe in something you know nothing about. You have never read the bible. Nothing is more evident;

2. I never spoke of the bible in negative terms that I could not prove. YOU prove to me, show me, that the bible is not full of incest to start with, followed by sex, violence, rape, slavery perpetrated on innocent human beings.

Did Adam and Eve not resort to incest to populate the earth?
Did Adam's second child, Cain, not murder his brother Abel? Nice start
Was Cain punished for his crime? No
Did Abraham not lie to the Egyptian king about being married to his half-sister?- speaking of incest.
Did Abraham not try to murder his son?
Was Moses not one of the greatest mass murderers in the history of man...
...Along with his brother Aaron and faithful number 2 , Joshua?

Hey, just getting started here now. What about Elijah who sits at the right of Jesus? Strangled 450 priests with the help of his SS - Gestapo the Levites because the priests did not succeed with their sacrifice. What about the first-born Egyptians that Moses supposedly had God kill for him?(easy to blame God - "He made me do it") What'd those first-born do to deserve death?

Oh, I could go on and on - Disprove the evidence I just gave. Go ahead.

Jacqtari, how many times have I told you that just because you read book, doesn't mean you understand it. You, for whatever reason, choose to hate the Bible. Good luck with that.

1. As is normally the case, you're flat-out wrong. Or, incorrect, if you prefer.
2. BS! cough BS!

You mean the same book that promotes genocide of non-believers including women and children ("Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and %$#." (I Samuel 15:2-3)

You mean the same book that encourages raping of women and dashing children into pieces ("Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished." (Isaiah 13:15-16)

You mean the same book that exalts men over women (“Let the women learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression (1 Timothy 2:11-14)."

You mean the same book that commands the destruction witches thereby invoking the slaughter of 100,000 women in Europe in the Middle Ages in the Great Witch Hunt ("thou shall not suffer a witch to live (Exodus 22:18)."

I think that I have read enough to form an opinion as to the "blessings" that the bible has bestowed upon mankind. James Madison, the father of our Constitution had it right when he wrote, "During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What have been its fruits? More or less, in all places, pride and indolence in the clergy; ignorance and servility in the laity; in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution."

Mark Twain had it right when he wrote: "Man is a Religious Animal. He is the only Religious Animal. He is the only animal that has the True Religion—several of them. He is the only animal that loves his neighbor as himself and cuts his throat if his theology isn’t straight."

Here's a short history for you, LOSER :
1. GWB withdraws troops from Afghanistan that join troops from the U.S. and bases abroad, invades Iraq, all based on fabricated evidence;
2. At the time of attack, Iraq is ruled by a tyrant, Saddam Hussein who brooks no dissension, never hesitates to liquidate all opponents. Massacres by gas thousands of Kurds. Life is not perfect in Iraq but the regime is run by the very secular Baath party. Iraq's one of the most prosperous nations in the middle east, in spite of crippling sanctions.
3. Saddam has just finished a stalemated war with Iran - U.S.-backed war. Rumsfeld made sure of that. Then, based on false information from U.S.ambassador in Baghdad, invades Kuwait.
4. Anyhow, Gulf war war over Kuwait is won, thanks to superb military strategy by Gen Norman Schwarzkopf. After end of hostilities, Gen Colin Powell advises GHB not to take Baghdad, not to depose Saddam as there is no viable alternative. GHB, the smart Bush, not the son, listens, follows wise advice.
5. Back to 2003. GWB and his string pullers concoct a plan, a strategy, a lie, to justify invasion of Iraq.
6.Invade it does. Victory is swift. Battle is won, but war is sure to be lost. It is.
7. Fast forward : Upon his election , Obama is stuck with GWB's quagmire, GWB's "Mission accomplished" fiasco. What 's he supposed to do, withdraw unconditionally? Not possible.
8. Iraq, once a bastion against Al Qaeda, Taliban, Iran, Hezbollah, Syria, etc, an Iraq that tolerated most religions, a tyranny, yes, but a tyranny we knew, a great barrier from extremists and Iran, is now being invaded by a ragtag army of 5 to 7000 men. Yes, 5 to 7000 men are routing an army of hundreds of thousands that was "professionally" trained by the US. Only problem, how do you get Kurds, Sunnis and Shiites to fight together? How do you deal with incredible corruption and favouritism? How do you forget that what is unfolding now in Iraq is a carbon copy of the last exit from Vietnam, that helicopter hovering over the U.S. embassy evacuating the last Americans whilst leaving their Vietnamese "collaborators" behind to be executed? One only has to see the Humvees and modern U.S. tanks along with so much materiel now in the hands of Sunni fanatics. And the most galling, humiliating of all, Russian jets sent to help the Iraqis. What the hell does that mean?
How did all of this get started? By Obama? I don't think so. What if tyrant Saddam had been left alone, no invasion? Could it be any worse than what we have today? I don,t think so. No buffer with Iran now, no stopping the Jihadists, the terrorists, they are all over Iraq and growing stronger in Syria. Saddam was a S.O.B., a tyrant, but hell, he's looking better and better. As is Haddad in Syria. You think he's bad? Wait 'til we get a hold of his replacement.

Nope,no blame in the first sentence. What a surprise, you can't read.

And, so , you confirm that GWB had NOTHING to do with the fiasco and disaster that is now happening in Iraq . His intervention in Iraq had nothing to do with it? And if he had stayed put, could it be any worse than it is now?

Oh, Hitler had nothing to do with WWII. Nooooo, he was dead when Germany surrendered. Before you tell me I'm comparing GWB to Hitler, as I know you will because you are dumb,it was nothing of the sort, I was making an analogy in a sort of parable attempt to get through your thick skull.

Easy, but you ignore facts.

Fact number 1 : Iraq invaded because it possesses WMDs;

Fact number 2 : GWB goes on TV, admits there were no WMDs.(Tuesday Aug 22 2006) He says his administration '"thought" there were WMDs. Wow. Hans Blix, chief UN inspector, said there were none.His 2nd in command, an American, said there were none. 150 countries said there were none, including Canada, Germany, France, Russia, much to Rogue's affirmation of the opposite. GWB, as a fall-back pretext, invokes the removal of a tyrant, musing what would have been had he not been removed. Well, Saddam WAS removed, and we have today's consequences. Why remove Saddam and not the countless number of other tyrants in the world? Oil? Hmm.
