To ignorants on the extreme right, he is a commie
To ignorants on the extreme left, he is a nazi.

Being limited in scope, you think he has to be either one. He does not have to. BTW, the great majority of Americans, does not think he is either a nazi or commie. I see you're not one of those.

Lastly, in any other country, including mine, Obama would be a centrist conservative - NOT a liberal.

They just dropped 650 bucks on what was made in a factory in China where the working/living conditions just suck. The building that your Iphone was built in has installed nets to catch the many bodies that regularly propel themselves off the roof.
They work 100 hour weeks and are paid almost enough to stay alive.
There are more facets of unbridled stupidity to this phenomenon than I can go into...what they are paying for, what they are supporting is immoral on it's best day, how it is used against you... it is crazy.

If you are going to back these people... at least try and keep your face off the internet. Or is that what you bought it for?

THEY cannot be held responsible for the horrible working conditions in China and other Asia countries, not their fault. Remember the collapse of that building in Dacca, 1000 women killed? OMG, oe (Canadian) and some American clothes retailers whose apparels were made there just DIDN'T KNOW the horrible and dangerous conditions these women were exposed to. Ho could they foresee such a tragedy? Same with the factory in Pakistan, same thing, clothes for North America and Europe - fire exit cemented - 100 dead. "WE DIDN'T KNOW", cried the CEOs.

Suuuuure. And don't forget, it's the workers' fault. Damn them. Serves them right. No one, except dire economic conditions, forced them to work there. Would it have hurt these multinationals to have them work in secure factories and pay them maybe $2.00 per hour more? But, based on Paul's and Cruz's declarations on Clinton and Obama, I fully understand why they are bona fide birthers.
Yeah, I hear a lot of dumb ass Americans saying dumb crap.

They shout "Communist!" as if they have a clue what it means. It is a boogeyman word to them.

In the 50's calling someone a communist was akin to calling someone a pedophile or a satanist.

The only real difference was that people had a decent grasp on what was wrong with pedophiles and satanist. They think that any effort to move forward in a direction that isn't 100% safe for corporate greed is somehow undermining America.

Today we have "terrorist" to be afraid of.

It is all McCarthyism...

Imagine that...

Being SOOOO full of shit... that being full of shit is a conditioned named after you.

If Americans are still afraid of communist they may as well be looking for closet monsters before they go to bed.

Indeed.
Businessmen are the core factor of American economic collapse.
Unregulated free market economy... with unregulated legalized gambling (wall street) sounds like a great idea in what universe?
But wait, there is more... We use a fractional reserve banking system. Mathematically... it fails. It fails every time. And here it has already failed, we just pump so much imaginary money into it that we have prolonged it's life for a very short time.

I just can't stress that enough... Our system literally (and when I use that word I mean it) can not succeed.

"Citizen's United" was the kiss of death.

Fascism comes from the right... completely different vehicles that get you to the same place, enslaving a population.
It was communist Russia that defeated the Nazi's.
Nazi's are nationalist. Which is the polar opposite of communist.
Prescott Bush = Nazi.
Obama = Progressive socialist.
Exactly how much farther apart could they be?
So Obama is a progressive socialist, I think company owners, home owners and land owners might have something to say about that.

What would they have to say?

First of all, no one really owns anything in America. Got a house? Some land? It isn't yours. Check your deed if you don't believe me. You are listed as "tenant". So, I guess it depends on your definition of "own".

Regardless, how is Obama implementing any of the above stated principals?

What has he done that gives you the red flag?

I pay personal property tax on my house and the land I have that would mean I own it, tenants in this state do not pay personal property taxes, must be one of those state things.
His intent to fundamental change this country and his socialist teachings is enough to bring up a red flag.

I don't care what you pay.. it proves nothing. You are a tenant. You can be removed at a whim.

Sure, you can put up 'private property' signs. You are even held legally responsible for people and structures on said land. You can pay taxes till you are broke.

However, the second someone decides "your" property is needed, it WILL be taken from you.

Bypasses, heat sinks, conservation... name a reason.

The govt. will quickly explain what "tenant" means and before you know it, you will be losing a court battle and accepting whatever compensation the govt.(and maybe now... the court) finds acceptable.

Many a land owning American has learned exactly what eminent domain means. It means what I said... you don't own jack.

"Fundamental change"... "socialist teachings"

Way to get specific. Got any legitimate reasons to think Obama is implementing socialism?

They do it EVERY day.

It isn't your property... so you don't pay attention, nor do you give a shit. And nobody is going to care if they take yours... blood...LMAO! Please...

If they decide to run a pipeline from Canada to the Gulf... Do you think for a second that they are going to be weaving in and out of private property lines?

Hell no... you and everyone else on their map are gone. I don't care if the land was in your family for 6 generations... you, "the tenant"....are screwed.

Go ahead... look at your deed. Tell me it list you as "owner" and I will show you a fake deed.

BTW.. it doesn't have to be big govt.

I have seen school districts evict 4 blocks of "land owning, property tax paying Americans" because they want a new football field.

Some of them threw a fit and it got them exactly nowhere... and this is an effing school district.

Even local govt can toss you.

Democracy vs. Oligarchy
March 31, 2014 / http://tinyurl.com/pzmm7q4
In his 1943 painting "Freedom of Speech," Norman Rockwell illustrated American democracy in action by depicting a man speaking up at a town meeting. A framed poster of Rockwell’s painting hangs proudly on a wall in my Senate office in Burlington, Vt.
Since 1990, when I was first elected to Congress, I have held hundreds of town meetings in almost every community in Vermont. Just this past Sunday I held a town meeting in Middlebury, Vt., with a video connection to meetings in three other towns. At these town meetings I listen to what my constituents have to say, answer questions and give a rundown of what I'm working on and what's going on in Washington.
This process – an elected official meeting with ordinary citizens – is called "democracy."

"Inside Job" Director Charles Ferguson: Wall Street Has Turned the U.S. into a "Predatory Nation" / May 29, 2012 / http://tinyurl.com/6v49j98
Two years after directing the Academy Award-winning documentary,“Inside Job,” filmmaker Charles Ferguson returns with a new book,“Predator Nation: Corporate Criminals, Political Corruption, and the Hijacking of America.” Ferguson explores why no top financial executives have been jailed for their role in the nation’s worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. We also discuss Larry Summers and the revolving door between academia and Wall Street, as well as the key role Democrats have played in deregulating the financial industry. According to Ferguson, a "predatory elite" has "taken over significant portions of economic policy and of the political system, and also, unfortunately, major portions of the economics discipline."

17 News Companies Support FOIA Lawsuit Against Michael Mann
By Julia A. Seymour | March 26, 2014 | 14:14
A group seeking access to climate scientist Michael Mann’s emails through Virginia’s Freedom of Information Act (VFOIA) has a surprising new group of news media allies.
From wire agencies to liberal Atlantic Media, Inc., 17 news groups have supported the release of documents, according to Columbia Journalism Review.
“Organized by the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, 17 news organizations, including National Public Radio, Dow Jones, and The Washington Post, submitted an amicus brief in November, supporting the group’s rights to Mann’s emails,” CJR said. Other groups include Politico, Associated Press and Reuters, Gannett Co. which owns USA Today, and News Corp. Among the missing: broadcast network TV companies, CNN and The New York Times.
The brief criticized the lower court ruling for “broadly defining ‘proprietary information’ in a way that would make almost any university document -- and potentially government documents -- exempt from public release” CJR noted. The ruling was in a case between Mann and the American Traditions Institute (now called Energy & Environment Legal Institute).
There is an irony to the situation, especially when it comes to the Post which used its editorial pages to attack a separate attempt by Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli to access Mann’s emails. Post editorials called that a “witch hunt” and a “misguided investigation” and argued that the University of Virginia should “push back” against Cuccinelli’s inquiry. The paper also endorsed Cuccinelli’s gubernatorial opponent, Democrat Terry McAuliffe.
The editorial page has flattered Mann in the past calling him “prominent” as well as “one of the most famous American climate scientists
